Want to be a part of a small (20ppl) IM mastermind group?

by mplatts 40 replies
We are a small IM group seeking like-minded individuals who want a friendly and helping environment for achieving their IM goals. We currently have 5 members and would like to increase it to 20. The members of the group will provide feedback, advice and encouragement to one another, helping overcome inertia and giving the necessary motivation to work hard and get the right results. This all will be done in a forum environment, as well as through instant chat programs such as yahoo msngr and skype.

PM me if your interested and serious about IM.

          Cool!

And thanks for the offer but I don't need any monetoring etc... In fact I have my own mentoring programs where I help other people!

SDo find that "big dog" first and then see what they are going to charge you!

I think if it will be a millionaire, they will chargeyou nothng less than $10K per head! But then there are six figure earners that would charge you much less! And for starting out, the advice of thjese people will be pretty cool!

            Hey Lakshay,

Not necessarily ... I've seen some people pick up groups like this that show promise just to help them. They didn't charge a red cent.

Yes there are people who will charge these amounts, but there are also just as many that want to help people get started.

            Matt and zeurois,

I think it's great you guys forming a networking team, and encourage you to continue adding new members to it.

Many times in a group like this someone eventually takes the lead or is dubbed the leader by the group, whether it is spoken out right or not. The group can learn, grow and develope into a very powerful force even without a mentor.

I found it is much better to have individual mentors rather then trying to recruit one mentor for entire groups. Each person brings in a different perspective, and can add much more to the group as a whole.

You might be better off asking people to join the group instead of asking for a mentor in this case. Who knows, you may end up with someone who is successful like you wanted in the first place.

            Hope this helps ...

            Mary

Sure Mary! I agree... but finding them is another thing! There are a very few quality mentoringand Masterminding programs out there, let alone the talk of getting someone to do that for free!

Getting someone to do that is difficult! But if you spot someone doing it free and they are doing it off their own accord, then you might just rush to grab...

                Lakshay,

There's more out there then what you evidently realize.

The thing is, you don't find them, they normally find the group!

                  Well!

i'm sure there is a strong back to what you are saying here! But our opinions are not shaped by our outlook... they are shaped by our experiences!

In my three years on the internet, I have never gotten someone to look at my sites and point out the mistakes personally.... let alone mentoring!

Here at WF, thigs are different, but apparently, I am pretty new here! Outside the WF, all we know is there are marketers like Reese, Kern, Joyner, Filsaime and Cheney and the only way to see what they are doing is to buy their products!

I am talking from a newbie's point of view who is not introduced to WF yet!

Think about it... its really difficult... it has been for me!

                    Lakshay,

My "opinion" is shapped on my experiences with this stuff, otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned it at all.

Just because you've never experienced it before doesn't mean other people haven't or it doesn't happen. Let's get realistic here ... open your mind up for new possibilities.

You are speaking from a new person's perspective as you mentioned. It would be wise to be open to other's point of view and experiences.

Btw, everything doesn't transpire in the WF no matter how much I like this place. There's a much bigger world out there.

Give yourself some more time, and you'll see some things you never dreamt (is that politically correct to say?) would happen on the Internet, or with total strangers, groups, and the like.

The concept is good, but I would strongly suggest that you find a group leader first who has the necessary experience to lead a group of relativley new IM'ers.

Otherwise you could possibly do more harm than good as well as chasing tails with the blind leading the blind.

I second that. Without a strong plan of action and a leader to guide everyone in the right direction, you will be spinning your wheels longer than necessary. You need someone with the knowledge and experience to push the group in the right direction, whatever that direction that is.

I'm not interested in finding anything for free.. I'm happy to give back my services, knowledge, etc (I'm sure a good marketer is not such a good programmer and would need one )

2 things (I cannot reply to all)

                  1. The whole idea behind this is to have a group with people that can anytime help each other with ideas, work, time, reviews, promoting, etc. I do think we need a leader as someone said earlier, we need a leader with much more experience than we have. We're not completely newbies, but we're far away from doing all this alone (I think )

                  2. Everybody who wants to join just PM me or mail me at zeurois .at. yahoo.com. I'll send you more instructions.

Thank you very much everybody for your replies and advices. I appreciate!

I've had around 10 PM's and I sent out the relevant link to go and sign up. One of the PM'ers has been doing IM since 1998 - so that's at least one person with experience and knowledge to pass on. This group is for people who are serious about making IM their business and not piggybackers looking for the quick riches. I myself am currently at a point of information overload, and I knew that if I don't stop looking at all forms of information relating to IM, I will never start actually building wealth. Starting with a group allows feedback and motivation - invaluable things that are harder to come by working alone.

                  That's a good sign

                  @mmurtha

Sure there is. And I am waiting for the positive experience when someone who is apparently making 10 times the money that I am making (Clearly there are hundreds of them if not thousands) offers me help or mentoring to sterp up my busness to the next level.

Till then, I'd just be consistent with what I have experienced so for.
