Busy Bees - what to do where and when

Right,

So, I have a site. That's it. I'm coming into some of the problems of setting up business and it's not because of my marketing (I haven't had a chance, yet!!!)

Basically, I have one main client, at the moment, who provides nearly all my work - not a great idea, I know, and something I want to change asap - yet I am still finding it hard to complete it all on time. Today, for example, I was aiming to spend the whole morning writing. However, the bank had sent my bank card to the wrong address, so I had to go to the bank; the company needed phones, so I had to go to the phone shops; the builder in the new flat/office is a lazy (insert profanity here), so I had to check up on him...

My question is this: How do those of you busy all the time manage to fit everything into your day? What do you do and where and when do you do it? Do you write your marketing on the toilet? Do you read blogs on the train? What's up?

Currently, it's 38-39 degrees C (for those in Fahrenheit, that's over 100!) and as the flat we're currently staying in has no a/c, I'm thinking of going to McDonald's to write tomorrow. Free WiFi and a/c should help me to get a few blogs completed in a few hours (I'm also planning on taking advantage of the early morning coolness
