How to make money on the Internet "FAST"

I see a lot of people posting here about how to make money quick/fast on the Internet. It isn't like the people on the Internet are different from those offline.

Ask yourself, how can you make money offline quick/fast. If you can't bring up ideas to make money offline quick, then the Internet will only be a way to get screwed

My opinion is, if you really want to make money online, forget the word "fast" or "quick" and study what works. If you want it "fast", chances are :
- You will be scammed
- You will lose money
- You will get discouraged
- You will never make the money
- and you will abandon like other newbies

Come to think of it, there is practically no way to make money offline without going through some learning curve. How do you think you can get up one morning and start "harvesting" money on the Internet? Don't be fooled!. There are two things you MUST do:
1 - You must LEARN
2 - You must INVEST (time and money)

If you don't want these, then I friendly advice you start something else.

Well said. It is amazing how many people think they can make easy, fast money. Long-term money is better.

To achieve maximum results and prolonged success, surely can not be obtained in an instant without the things you describe above (learning, research, invest) and of course many others.

    Agreed with Laurence,

Most newbies think the internet is a magic wand and money goes into your account without doing anything, this is a business and it takes time to get to that point and building a long term business is better

Ugh, I totally agree about the magic wand and easy money. Almost every time I tell someone what I do they seem to think I do nothing all day and the $$$ just keeps rolling in. If I try to explain about it being a long-term valid business their eyes just glaze over.

i totally agree with leftbrain, its like till you dont fail, you wont find succes but dont you quit because if you quit then you'll never know what success is like so work hard and learn from your mistakes and failures.
also, talking about the topic "earn money fast or quickly" is mostly scam and scamming is a quick way to earn..if you know what i mean...though i have never done iit and never will. I do not recommend anyone to go for scamming.. work hard and earn what u deserve

The title of your thread is misleading

So what you're saying is I cant make $1000000000 by buying that awesome super-secret software that will pump money into my bank account while I drive around in my Lamborghini, date young models and go on long vacations?

    That sucks!

Actually, I believe nothing can be done without sacrifice. In this case, let's call it investment. Yes, you have to be ready to give some in order to get some. I also agree with leftbrain. You need to acknowledge that failure is an important step to success.

I definitely agree that many IM methods are long-term, not quick cash.

However, on the other hand, there certainly ARE things you can do online which will get you some cash in less than 24 hours, such as posting Fiverr gigs and scanning the "wanted" section on Fiverr and be the first to reply with a custom gig (giving them EXACTLY what they ask for) to anyone asking for something you can do. Most people can make some cash in a few hours doing that, and build contacts for additional work too . . . one of the very first Fiverr gigs I ever sold (on my very first day) led to $100's of additional work on SEO, article writing etc.

I guess that mostly the quick cash methods, are not usually likely to result in getting really rich, but you can balance your strategies, get some cash quick, and build a long-term mega-income a bit more slowly

Good stuff! It's funny thats all that is out there on how to make money fast with a few clicks of your mouse. Yea right! This is part of the problem why less than 4% of affiliate marketers earn more than $200 a YEAR. Thats 96% that is caught up in the hype. There is no hype people, this is a business and it takes work. Its easy work once learned but still its work that we have to do on our own and that another reason why so many fail I believe is because nobody is saying do this and do that and if you don't you are going to get fired!!!
This business takes work and disapline to learn... There are not just one or two steps involved but multiple steps and frankly I just don't think people really want to put in the work but instead chase all those make money fast promisis. Nobody ever pulled to the side and explained how this whole Internet thing works. For me it was like a light bulb moment and all of a sudden I am standing back looking at my business.

  • To be honest, the term 'FAST' is actually relative.

Compared to a lot of other offline businesses out there, there are a lot of success stories online that have been relatively 'faster' growing that a lot of other models out there.

E.g the average restaurant or retail business probably makes profit, let alone breaks-even for a few months to even a year. This isn't quite as 'fast' as say, someone investing in a course, learns a marketing technique, plans a strategy, and starts making 4 figures a week within a span of three months.

That's not to say neither of those ventures took a lot of hard work, manning up, and experiencing a thing or two.

So what I'm saying is, what do we really mean by 'FAST'?

If we're talking about OVERNIGHT-type of FAST, well that's a bit different isn't it.

I've also had an experience where I've invested into a course with an affiliate program, broke even with it in two days and then made profit with it in less than a week. This is pretty 'fast' compared to someone who does a business plan, borrows money from the bank, hires a shopfitter, and then opens up a cafe from it within 11 months and operates at the negatives at the bottom line. And I only got the result I mentioned above because I did have prior experience in doing that type of stuff - so yes it was 'fast' but there was a catch.

I also know of a lot of people who can make 6 figures in a month, which is freaking FAST compared to other businesses who struggle to even break even in a month. But these people of course, had experience and the skills to produce that kind of result, which probably didn't occur as 'fast' as they expected.

So what I'm saying is, there are opportunities that MAY produce you results 'faster' than others, yes. But in the end, there's always some sort of sacrifice or something that needs to be learned, taught or experienced in some way that will speed up the process.

Call me inexperienced or anything, but so far, I've never seen an instant push-button effortless point blank hands free money making opportunity that, hehe... actually worked. Yes, I've been scammed by countless of these during my selfish and impatient days but oh well, that's just more experience under my belt.

So yes, I'll just take a stab and say, I've made money 'FAST' compared to other means out there, but note that it didn't come without some cost, sacrifice or learning of something in exchange.

This is the Law of Reciprocity, from my understanding (feel free to correct me if wrong or add to this).

      Yes Michael!

Intermediate or say gurus are quite able to make huge amounts fast. Of course, they already have traffic (huge follows, large lists, PPC knowledge, etc). With these as resources, it takes just a click to bank $ks in few days. They have gone through some learning process and earned some experience.

I think learning a course in 3 months is quite enough to start earning. "Learning" already rolls out the scamming "quick dollars" overnight for newbies

Newbies must understand they have to go through some SERIOUS learning process. They have to forget about some magic button to click.

Nothing will come easy if you sit on your ass and don't take initiative.

If you really want to make money online consistently i think the best bet would be to create a blog and sell afiilliate products for whatever niche you're interested in.

If you don't want to deal with adding tons of content and just want to start putting up products then i recommend buying a premade blog from services such as inubu.com

On the internet maybe most of these "get rick quick" schemes are in fact bs.

Off the internet however I completely disagree. By chosing the offline route I was not only able to make money fast, but make a nice deal of it. I'm definitely not "rich", but still, there is fast potential to make money marketing offline.

Its not even real "work" for me anymore and I'm making money. Anytime I happen to be in a small business, I open my mouth and get the owner talking about his marketing. Then I prove to him why his marketing has tons of gaps in it. I'll look at his website and find immediate problems with it.

Then I can usually sell my web design services to these people. Soon I'll be outsourcing many other services as well.

ALL I DO IS OPEN MY MOUTH. I see sometimes dozens of threads in the online section by the same people "I can't make money!! I'm desperate etc etc!!"

You're definitely not desperate I'm sorry. When I got desperate I left the online forums, left WF altogether and started walking into businesses. Soon enough I wasn't desperate anymore. The real reason most people are desperate is because they're too closeminded to work outside their realm of comfort.

So the problem to me is not lack of opportunity, but lack of willingness to persue certain types of opportunity, that imo are guaranteed to work. That is if you can open your mouth and say a few sentences to a stranger. God how scary it is lol. Even if you can't do that, flyers work too. So again, you don't even need to be good at talking to people. Although I realize I've gotten off topic now. So lets get back to focusing on online and being broke. =]

You CAN make money on the Internet FAST!

    However experience is key!

When you start out you might just want to make $20 a day - JUST to see if it is possible.

Even if you hit $10 a day at that point you are over the moon!

Then as you move up $20 a day moves to $50 and then $80 etc...

Then it gets to the point that you worry if you don't make $200 a day and think "I really need to start working harder!"

My long winded point is this:

You can make money on the Internet fast if you have something of value to offer and can find people that see value in what you are offering.

As with all things - sales - online or off takes practice.

It is possible to make money online fast but not how most newbies think. Nearly every product you find out there will not live up to the promises they provide. It really is a catch 22 though.

If I make a product that says you will make $10/day for doing lots of work, NO ONE is going to buy it. Even though the method works and can be upscaled to grow without limits.

If I make a product that says you will make $1000/day doing almost no work, A LOT of people will buy it because their heads are in the clouds. This can be done but it is either the result of very hard work or very good luck.

Both situations are POSSIBLE but only one is realistic.

You can make money online fast. You just have to be willing to work just as fast.

Yeh building a buisness is the one thing that actually worked for me. If you don't have some type of business website offering services, that could be a good start.

If you don't know how to offer the services, then start there. Realize that if you lack the experience, you need to get that before anything else. This is why I picked something that a monkey could do (sell websites/seo offline) then later plan on dumping that cash into more passive/long term strategies (adsense/amazon/clickbank/infoproducts).

I agree, there is no "magic bullet" and if someone says there is then they're likely just trying to take your money.

However when you put in hard work, dedication and focus on 1 solid method to make money online, then you can start experiencing good results.

Results usually only come fast once you truly understand a profitable system, which can take time to grasp but will pay off in the end.

long term stability is the way forward, its so funny how any blog talking about hard work never gets as many hits but a site advertising press one button and get to ranking number 1 get so much traffic, he is the solid fact you can get your site to rank 1,2,3 for mid competition keywords automated, but a lot of hard work is needed before you can, let me explain I would guarantee that if bmr, uaw, aln were still working they would still help to rank today. so whats the way forward simple build you own personal network blog. You can easily get your own blogs to pr2,3 within a 6 month period. Now picture the ability of having 100 links from pr 2/3 pages for a mid comp key word. Now alot of people will ask how long does it take, being honest it took around 24 hours to set up 50 personal blogs. use magic submitter to push up the pr value automated.

I guess when the word quick and fast come up it all depends on what that means to someone. I do think that someone can make a good living online a lot faster than going the traditional route of trying to do it offline.

Maybe one reason is the costs involved in having a traditional business. But, at the same time an investment will motivate someone to really evaluate if they want to make that business choice and if they do they will work their butt off to make it happen. I think because so many people have such a low initial investment even with very good business opportunities, they don't take it serious enough, because they didn't have to sacrifice any capital to get it going.

I'm sure someone has done a study on this somewhere and it would be interesting to get some statistics.

I also think people really get caught in the shiny object syndrome online by going after every new thing out there that's going to give them their fortune, instead of sticking with what they started out with and just make it work.

Was a good post to get me thinking on the subject.

Every thinking should be real, but for online business we see that is not ,just emotional.Every business is a combination of talent, money, time. But for internet earning they think the only investment is net connection and pc nothing else.Sometimes I think why this great(foolish) people are here? But no answer comes to me.

A car can not run fast at the beginning,it must have an starting velocity, just like that for starting velocity a businessman should invest time, money, labor, must study a lot at the beginning. After completing all he can come to an action, otherwise not.

'Fast' and 'Slow' is a comparative word.
In tradition business, we are restricted by location, time. To expand the business worldwide, it might take 10-20 years and it take a lots of resources and time to achieve it.
With Online platform, we can build a system of provide great values to peoples around the world with less resources and time.
In another word, learn how to drive 'Fast' in life also need time & efforts. It just a matter of choice.

There is no short cuts that are so awesome that a total newbie to internet marketing can decide to go into that field one day and the next day be a millionaire... Get rich quick has given what we do a bad name, so stay away from those types of offers... Best thing to do is find a mentor that you like and stick with them and learn all you can... Sky's the limit in this industry but its not going to happen over night.

True, totally agree with you. Making money online is not tough only when you know what you really want and the things you need to do.
Picking your own niche market and building a list of leads is the way to go.

I think it's possible, but it all depends on a lot of things, Experience being the major thing along with a good teacher or Guru. As far as offline vs online. I think online is way smarter I couldn't really come up with ideas for offline money as quickly as I can for online money. The other questions are how much do you want to make? How much experience do you have? How much time and energy are you willing to put into learning what you don't know? If you are looking for quick instant money then you will get scammed hopefully you will have some money left over after the scam, but like the other users have said it's best to have a long term plan. Sort of like if I build it then they will come. One thing that will get you moving faster is a good teacher or guru someone with not only online experience, but business experience as well, because there are many pits to fall in when you are getting started. For example a lot of affiliate products that we will be pushing have a time line, they don't pay right away. That being the case you want to do your research and find out when you can get paid. Other thing's being hidden costs, an autoresponder, a domain, a hosting account, that wordpress plugin, that guru program to help you get the basics down, like forum marketing, blogging, seo, social marketing etc..Bottom line is if you got a good teacher, some experience, some pocket money, you can make some money probably within 2-3 days, of course that depends on how many friends and associates you already have online, and of course it probably won't be enough to pay the rent/mortgage. I would focus on a longer plan to leave room for the learning curves, and for customers to be aware that you actually exist on the internet, and that will take a good 2 weeks to a 3 months. The only other thing I can offer here is that you stay focused on the money. People want to learn to make money and as the economy get's worst more will come to make money, be there to offer them this in a product or service. If you choose to stray away from that because you just love making cakes, or you just love building widgets all I can say is good luck with that.
