What other traffic methods that do not rely on SEO and SERP rankings to get customers? I have sites highly ranked that suddenly got deindexed although they are all original and good contents sites with minimal affiliate links.

    I dont mean to spam or advertise, however there are many other methods that you can used for traffic building. Paid traffic s one of that, you can start your paid campaign with advertising step, PPC, paid traffic, or paid guest blog posting.

    No matter with the SERPs, if you have some money to invest (both for off-page campaign & on-page campaign) I sure that will better.

    Yahoo Answers can be a great source of free targeted traffic. Also, forum posting, guest blogging, video marketing, article syndication, blog commenting, among others. Do a search of this forum and you'll fuind lots of good information on free traffic generation.

    Blog commenting when done well can bring you a lot of traffic. I really do mean a lot.

    But for making it work you need to post interesting comments on high traffic blogs. Also make sure you don't put any url in your comment and use your real name or pen name (and not a keyword) in the field "name".

    In the field "your website" enter the url to your home page - no url to an internal page.

    Doing this will help you to get your comments approved.

    Leave quality comments on 2 or 3 posts per day and you'll get hundreds of daily visitors faster than you imagine.
