INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Folks,

In addition to producing video for marketers, I've worked with a few independent musicians over the years. Just discovered that one of those musicians has uploaded a couple of my videos to their YouTube channel.

Marketing content: Demonstrates what you can do with multiple cameras and good audio.

Non marketing content: Hey, it's the weekend and Karen Mal is entertaining!

Nice! Steve, I really enjoyed this video. Karen Mal is quite good. Love the song.

I do a little singing/songwriting too, but it has been a while since I've done anything major. I used to play in gigs in small coffee houses...that was before I had my son. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if....

Good stuff. I'm helping my friend market his songs too.

check out The Throws - Invitation on iTunes.

As for the youtube marketing strategy for all you up-and-coming musicians, take full advantage of getting to know other youtube stars. Do collaborations with those already getting traffic to their vids. Who knows, you might make a friend or two.

  I played in a few bands for quite a number of years. My avitar is from one of the shows we played at Hard Rock Live I think. It's been almost a year since the band broke up but we had some pretty good success and got into a couple magazines and compilation cd's.

That's my whole aim behind this IM malarkey! I want to earn enough from the net so I can write and record full time. I can't wait for that final breakthrough that brings regular daily sales so I can give up that damn day job!
