You don't need software for this, just use your good ole' friend Google. Just try a bunch of footprints (search strings) in google. For instance if you are looking for Wordpress sites about making money online, you could use:

"powered by wordpress" "make money online"

Try other blogging platforms like drupal and joomla

You can also just try: "comments" "make money online".

The key is to get creative and try a lot of different combinations, you will find plenty of sites to comment on. Most importantly be sure to actually read the article and provide insightful comments that actually add to the conversation. Don't just spam as this won't help you and will probably get your comment deleted.

You can search using keywords in google for blogs that are relevant

Same as bigjon said... Its best you comment on stuff that is relevant for that reason just type a phrase that relates to what your looking for. Usually when I comment im not only after the comment but also reading the content... try not to be too broad in your searches.... put in a keyword then on the left side click "blogs" it usually returns recent blog posts.

I use Scrapebox for this purpose but you can just use footprints in Google to find pretty much anything.

For instance if i want to find forums for "music production" i just do the following:

"Powered by vBulletin" "music production" (vBulletin being the technology used for the forum)

You can do the same with any other technology being used for Forums and the best way to find the unique text to use is to find a forum, look at the bottom for the unique text, copy and paste it in between "" and your away

    Quick example:

Go here - Radio Production | Sounds Visual Radio and Music Production

Look at bottom of page, you will see - Powered by WordPress and zBench

Now put them into your Google Search String and you have:

"Powered by WordPress and zBench" "music production"

put that into google and you get 6270 results using Google.com from Thailand so it may differ your end but you get the idea.

You can do this with ANY unique text, it takes time to find best strings to use but you can get extremely in-depth with these search strings, for example:

    site:amazon.com intitle:"Camera" "Price:$0..1000" "20..5000 customer reviews"

This will return all Amazon results from the Camera category in the price range of $0-$1000 with 20-5000 customer reviews and you can get even more detailed than this.

Anyway hope this helps you out somewhat

    Mark

I haven't seen anyone mention Google Blogsearch.

But then again, I'm new, so I may just be ignorant

You can look up RSS feeds that include your keywords. Over time, you'll see which ones are the best and have the most participation.

Or you can simply just type into g00gle: <your niche> blogs
