Easier to rank websites in other countries?

Since my last post about this matter got lost in cyberspace, I will try again:

Is there any marketer from sweden here who find it easier to rank sites comparared to the US for example. I would guess the competition is alot lower, but on the other hand there are only 10 million people in total living here so I guess that might be another problem with getting enough traffic and sales, any marketer from sweden or anyone else that have any good insight?

    Of course its easier to rank outside the US. And even more in non English speaking countries. Depending on your niche and your goals, it may be worth the try.

    Good question -- I'm not entirely sure as I've heard from multiple sources that the German market is one of the most competitive on the planet.

    Yes, it is definitely easier. Less competition, though usually lower search volume.
