Is Your Blog In Danger?
I just checked the blog posts of one of my websites and discovered there had been a glitch with one of the plugins and the same article had been posted over 100 times.
Luckily, I had Maxpress's Ping Optimizer installed and when I checked the log I found that I had actually pinged the update to Google, Yahoo, and a stack of others - once! Phew. Without the optimizer in place, which restricts the number of pings within a certain time frame, that blog (and possibly the website) would surely have been banned for excessive pinging.
That's one plugin I'm really happy to have installed.
