Build a distribution platform for current and upcoming products?

Hi All,

I am new to the world of IM and this is my first post here. I am however an experienced software entrepreneur running a successful company with over 50 staff.

Our flagship software application is doing really well, almost close to 100k revenue a month. I would like to clarify that is a full on mobile client-server model based application and not a small utility etc.

We only have a handful of affiliates who drive a large chunk of our sales and the rest is done as a result of our direct SEO efforts.

Now even though the application is pretty successful, it took us a long to get here purely because of the lack of our marketing expertise. We have a nag of developing great software but in Internet Marketing is limited to a point

I know there is great potential in our application and with the huge marketing effort, the sales should at least jump 3X times. Plus we have several other applications releasing soon which we need to market.

I am at the view that in order to make sure that all our current software products and upcoming products to be successful, we need to create an ecosystem of multiple market channels. This will require building relationships with the key experts in all the channels so whenever we have a launch, we can work with to make it successful on ongoing basis.

Here are the key areas I think I would need to build relationships in:

JV:

-Super Affiliates: Partner up with super affiliates who can then recruit affiliates in their own network and work on MLM model.
-Email lists: Partner up with people with huge emails lists (in somewhat similar niche) to promote the applications to their subscribers.
-CPA networks: Get CPA networks to advertise the application

Own Affiliate network:

-In House Affiliate network: Start investing on building our own network of affiliate sites and once there is decent traffic, promote our products on it.

Social Media:

-Facebook & Twitter: Build relationships with either people with huge Facebook & Twitter followings or with some people who are experts in social media marketing. We could even hire an expert in social media marketing

Youtube:

-Videos Marketing: Hire an expert who can fulltime develop videos and promote them on youtube and promote our applications in the videos.

PPC:

-Hire a PPC expert. We have a large budget for PPC but we think we can gain more PPC if an expert is working with us.

Outsourced Affiliate Manager:

-Hire an experienced affiliate manager with tons of Affiliate recruitment & management experience. Ideally he/she will have enough links to quickly recruit a lot of affiliates/

-----------------------------------------------

We are thinking of hiring and doing joint ventures so we know every time we launch a new product, we do not have to worry about marketing side of it.

I would really appreciate if you could give your thoughts on our plan and possibly the best way of striking partnerships or hiring for each one of the above.

Furthermore it would be really appreciated if you could actually give your feedback on the whole plan. Whether we should do things differently? or we should add some other things? etc

Thanks.
