FBI shutdown may disable 300,000 computers

Due to the DNSchanger bot worming its way into computers,
the FBI will take action on Monday, maybe preventing
thousands of computers to access the internet.

I only have the US link, so if you click below:
http://www.dns-ok.us/
it will show whether your computer is clean or not.
The site did not load for me and I had to reload it.
Showed green good to go on mine.

Just google it for more info.

Could conceivably effect online sales.

      webpage not available in chrome
      timed out in firefox

      I started to think maybe it was because I was infected.

      Finally, it worked on Internet Explorer. status=green

        People need to have a bit of patience here - their server is probably being bombarded right now - system overload!

          that was my first thought.

          then I kept trying for 10 minutes in chrome. and it kept timing out.
          so I tried firefox.. same thing, timeout error.

          then I thought maybe I had something set in my browser that conflicted with that website.

          So, I opened up IE which I never use and is all default settings with no addons, and it worked

          I wanted to post my results here, to help others who may have tried on chrome or firefox and got errors.




          fast forward to a couple hours later: now

          it worked in chrome. So, my assumption that it worked on IE and not the others was just a coincidence in timing.
