Marketing with business cards...

My wife owns a flower shop in Columbus Ohio where we do a lot of marketing with a bi-folded business card. We drop these cards everywhere we go from parking lots, bulletin boards etc. We get a huge response from this kind of marketing. We are looking for some new and fresh ideas on different places to "drop" our business cards. Any ideas would be very awesome!

How about getting some super cheap flowers and putting them on cars with a business card or just giving them out to ppl on the street? Everybody loves flowers right?

This doesn't directly address your question but it might help. Create bookmarks. They're really cheap to get printed and since you have a flower shop, flowery bookmarks would be perfect. Of course, there's also a little commercial for your shop on it. And the good thing is, people want them and they also save and use them. Lotta bang for the buck.

As important as where you place your cards, is what's on them. Jay Abraham says we should decrease "institutional" type marketing and increase our direct-response marketing efforts. In your situation I would consider including (assuming you haven't already) a call-to-action on the card, perhaps on the back. Also, read up or watch a vid or two on the concept of "preeminence" as he explains it.
