Mind taking a look at a press release for me?

Hey,

I'm not one to look for handouts, I'm just not quite sure where to go right now. I'm looking to get more into press releases and I'm not quite sure how to write one. I've consulted a few different online resources but haven't found anything I would consider a "solid" resource. Any suggestions on where to go to learn more? Would anyone mind taking a look at my press release to tell me where I might want to beef it up or change the "angle"? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.

A good starting point would be to find an existing press release that you like. Then work with some of the paragraphs and rewrite them to fit your idea. Then come back and show us what you did.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

I have a bunch of info on www.thepressreleasesite.com. I was a reporter for many years and I've read COUNTLESS press releases. What do you need to know, specifically?

If you go to Press Release Distribution Online - PRWeb and read some of their press releases you will get an idea of how a typical press release is organized and written.
