Do You Have A "Opt-In For Freebies" Email Address?

As in, when deciding to opt-in and download a freebie on the forum (or perhaps elsewhere), do you have an email address specifically designed to do such? Or do you use a primary email of yours? Do you ever change which email you use depending on the kind of freebie or offer, maybe based on who's providing it?

I personally don't have an Opt-In For Freebies Email Address, but I know a few others who do and they've been successful with it. The freebies they offer are things that can be sent electronically, such as eBooks.

I only have one email address. Right now I have only 1 niche. If I start another niche or another website I'll use another email address. I use the "GetResponse" autoresponder to organize my list so no need for different email addresses - which can get quite confusing over time, I think.

      Why do you ask?

I think you can still have success with a freebie.

My advice would be to spend some time and create a $7 product...start a buyers list instead.

The freebie list will require more work to turn into buyers.

I think some didn't understand what you are saying.

    Yes, I have 3 emails.

    1. For personal - friends and family
    2. Business email
    3. For opt-ins freebies, see their sales funnel. Basically to learn and observe.

I think its a good idea, its been working good for me.

I hope that's what your looking for.

Adsassist - Yeah, I think some people didn't understand exactly what I was asking. Maybe I phrased it strangely. You got it.

I do. I use it to sign up for everything that I know will end up bombarding me with junk mail. I always read the first few items I get from a particular person, and sometimes I'll move those to a different address because I like them. The rest...I'm just taking up room on people's autoresponders.

Speaking of which...I accidentally erased the email you sent out tonight Ross. Can you send it to me again?

I do the same thing. There are some really good marketers out there, and I usually enjoy hearing what they are up to.

Theres only like one marketer that I actually open emails from (stayed subscribed to) ... who are some of the marketers you reccommend? Cause I wouldnt mind waking up to a couple emails a day that I actually look forward to reading.

Yes, I call it my spambox. Some of my subscriptions are pretty good, others are worrisome. I've used the same one for a few years now too and I don't plan on changing it.

I used to use my main one but ive since unsubscribed from all of those.

I created a new one for freebie opt-ins specifically about a month or so ago just so I can study what the list owners are sending out, how often and all that good stuff.

I usually prefer to just use my main personal email address. If the person begins spamming my email address, then I simply unsubscribe

I have a separate gmail for IM related stuff.

I used to have it going to my primary email address but it was taking up a lot of time each day sorting through it. I try to have a clean inbox each day and its getting harder and harder.

That is why building a freebie list can cost you $$$. Its always wise to build a buyers list, collect their valuable paypal email ids than 'only for freebie' emails.
