Banner Ad Price

I have a website. The site stats are alexa 46,991 , 28000 page views per month, PR 2. I want to offer 468*60px 1 sticky banner ad in top right of my site above 200pages AND 125*125px right side sitewide above 200 pages. What is market price for the stats. How to fix price.

    It's hard to just give a generalized price since it also depends heavily on the quality and type of traffic. People are only going to pay good money if they can make good money from that traffic.

      You can find people who are selling ad-space for fixed prices or per-1k-impression prices, you can at least get an idea of what your traffic might be worth by comparing it with other websites that are actually selling their ad-blocks.

    I used http://buysellads.com/ and paid around $50 for a month and got nothing back, all i would say is like Will said be careful on the type and quality of traffic their sites are getting. For example i realised too late that a lot of the site's traffic was from India and i suspect how targeted it really was.
    Carry out your due diligence first as always.

    I think he is trying to determine how much he can earn from an ad, not buying ad traffic, that is why I mentioned buysellads. There are otherwise much better media outlets to purchase ad space from!

      Yeah Christopher you may be right actually, if he's referring to trying to sell ad space then it depends on many factors like the Alexa ranking, where the traffic is coming from, how much he feels he deserves to charge for renting out the space, what people are prepared to pay for it etc.
