Article Marketing...How Do I Find a Guide From A-Z?

I write all day every day at my desk job. I've done lots of freelance too, until one day I figured out that they were probably making a lot more than I was on my work (I'm not that bright).

Anyways, I want to learn article marketing. I don't need to make a ton of money, but I'd like to turn something I already do all the time into some income.

I keep finding parts of ideas and guides, but nothing substantial. Where can I get an exhaustive guide? I am fine with the writing, but from there I don't know where or how to submit, etc.

Thanks in advance

Turn Words Into Traffic. That book will give you everything you need to get started, the rest comes with practice.

Or, do what Alexa says (sorry Rocky, do you syndication? If so, I'll edit Alexa out. No one can replace you Rocky).

I'm not sure if it's quite what you'd call "a guide from A to Z", but there's certainly a complete system here, which I think is fairly self-contained: The Content Cash System

Alternatively, you can start from this single post, read all the threads linked to inside it, and "work outward" from there by doing the same thing (I do know people who have done exactly that, started off on that basis, and are doing well): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5068872

Edited to add: as usual, I was typing while Joe posted. His suggestion is also a very good one: Turn Words Into Traffic

You can find plenty of free strategies right here on the Warrior Forum with a simple search of "article marketing".

There should be enough tips to get you started...

Oh and Joe too. I look forward to learning from you guys!

One last question...do you suggest any particular manual submission service? Or should I not use one at all? Thanks!

I assume you mean for directory submission (passive syndication)? I only submit to EZA personally. I didn't get published from anywhere else.

read the forums, blogs about article marketing. Actually Its a naked truth that the experts are really earning a lot from article marketing. but only the EXPERTS. Remember it.

I'm 22, and haven't been on Earth long enough to be qualified as an expert in anything (well, outside of being awesome). Yet I'd say I'm doing pretty well with article marketing. Absolutes never work.

You could go through 50 years of birth announcements, and I defy you to find one that says a woman gave birth to an expert.

No one starts off knowing anything, but if you keep at it, you learn what works for you. If that makes you an expert, so be it...

Investigate before you buy. There are tons of 'guides' out there that are as worthless as tits on a boar. Here's how to investigate MMO guides

    1) Find other offers that say the same thing

    2) Find reviews from bloggers - see a pattern or are they affiliates trying to sell the same stuff?

    3) Read forum posts of people that are trying to do the same - how many are complaining? What commonalities do they share?

    4) Read the past post histories of people flogging the same offer. A pattern should quickly emerge.

There are many fake experts in AM. If you can't spare to lose money "gaining experience," invest a lot of your time investigating and doing your own research before you commit.
