HI,

a) how many words should be in description while submitting to bookmarking website? or can i just copy paste little content from my original post into description? can i do like that?

b) For how many bookmarking sites should I submit, for a single post? 5 or 10 or 20?

c) Submitting to Top Bookmarking directories is enuf?

d) and do we really get customers from Bookmarking websites? or we're doing just for seo purpose?

  • Focus on quality bookmark sites that have high page rank

    Use only original text for descriptions except for your target keywords

    Make your keyword patterns look NATURAL - don't use your target keywords for 100% of your SB links. Keep it down to 20%

    Write your descriptions for REAL PEOPLE - ie., there should be a call to action. It should be engaging and attention-grabbing

    Remember to BRAND your site with your social bookmarks - everything you do must be geared towards building up your BRAND. Branding is the CORE of SEO

      BUT how many words should be minimum and maximum in description? and should we keep 'call to action' also at the end (using anchor text)?

  • Does 150 words suffice in case of Bookmarking website description?
  • Social bookmarking is great to get your site indexed. Don't focus too much on it, since it can't really give you that much link value.

    I use them to get indexed faster. That is all. On higher more quality social bookmarking sites, you definitely invest some of your time to get traffic from there. Just not too much.
