Could It Really Be This Easy??

Hi,

so after trying to make "quick money" online I realize it's the long term methods that work. I know this because I have made cash in the past with this. Things have changed now but I feel one thing might not have changed.

Is it really this easy to make money online?

1. Pick a niche like weight loss, pets, relationships etc

2. Write content to your blog every single day. At least 1 article per day added targeting long term keywords.

3. Build a list

4. Build backlinks each day in the order of 5-10 new backlinks

5. Just stick with the plan

6. Build relationship with list and offer them good products/solutions to their problems.

Is it really this easy? As in after doing this for say 6 months you will have good traffic and a good sized list. Some times we make things too hard. I might just do this because in a way it seems fool proof. I guess im asking if this is a good solid plan that will always hold up with all of the google changes?

  • It's easy but the problem is people nit pick and chase rabbit holes so to them it's not easy.

Let me fill you in on some parts so you get the big picture.

    1) Pick subniches too. General or broad niches don't work as well

    2) Content must be written for BOTH people and search engine bots. You are walking a tightrope here. Also, your content must BRAND YOU as a credible and AUTHORITATIVE figure in whatever niche you are covering

    3) Building a list involves two key tools - getting your lead capture tool in front of as many eyeballs as possible (I suggest popup domination or any other similar tool) AND "bait" - you must give them a reason to want to sign up. Free ebooks or free digital premiums are good. However, don't just focus on FREE stuff. The premium you are giving away (in exchange for list membership) must FILTER people as well. You want to structure it so you only get people who have a high chance of buying upsells.

    6) I can't emphasize this enough. RELATIONSHIPS are what matter most (in addition to BRANDING).

Thanks guys. I understand what you mean about writing for visitors and SE's I think. Of course you must target your keywords but also provide valuable content to your readers. You want the content to be natural and informative.

But this is a method that still works with all of the Google changes still right?

for starters yes you should be building a list

but you dont have to blog every single day, one new post every week is good enough to start with and if you post too much your quality may slip as its not easy to produce quality blog posts every single day

just keep building the list, keep sending them quality content

a little tip which i use which works like "gangbusters" is when you create content for your follow ups, create some of the content on your blog then send your subs to your blog to read it

it works very well for building a solid relationship

also mike does this at truth about abs. He often sends you to his blog to read articles

people then have the option of buying something from your blog on a regular basis. Theres no selling and it works well because some will make a purchase

as they say "people love to buy but hate to be sold to"
