Automating Article Syndication

I've read that it may be hard to get publishers to opt-in to a list... But I'm thinking sending each publisher an individual email might not be the smartest way of doing things either.

What is the best way to alert publishers of your new content? (Mac friendly suggestions please)

Considering how Google has been cracking down on links and has been emphasizing quality over quantity, it might be a good time to reconsider the automated article route. Also, you are not doing your brand any favors by blasting links all over the place. I suggest you do it the way Google likes it BRANDING AS SEO. Branding is key because that's where SEO is headed, like it or not.

Many publishers such as ezines and blogs do in fact accept articles for consideration. And actually, it is not unreasonable to send emails to publishers who have previously accepted your articles. As with any similarly prior established business relationship, you may safely assume the publisher will have an interest in receiving additional comparatively relevant articles. Be sure to follow standard and accepted email protocol (including a conspicuous unsubscribe link) in all of your submissions.
