Is there a best time of day to pay to bump a WSO thread?

I launched my first WSO recently and have learned the hard way that it means either being in the Old Boy Network or bumping your thread every day for $40.

So, I have accepted that I need to keep paying to get my product at the top of the WSO list.

Is there a best time of day to pay to bump a WSO thread?

I'm in Israel, so I bumped a thread early in the morning here the other day. It brought in a bunch of sales, but then when it dropped off to the second page the sales ended.

I'm starting to keep notes when I bump, when the sales come in and find the best time and best day.

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with different times of day or different days bumping threads. I'll bet someone will soon sell this as its own WSO!

Israel is beautiful. I visited a couple years back.

No, there isn't really. When more people are on, there are more bumps. The same for the opposite (fewer people, fewer bumps). It's your decision. If you bump or launch a WSO during an off time it'll be seen by fewer people per hour but it'll stay visible longer. Or, mid afternoon when everyone else is bumping, it'll drop to the bottom of the page faster but more people are viewing it. I personally do both times to catch all different demographics.

Not really, I usually bump whenever it reaches page 3 as I get on-going exposure.

It really depends on your goals.

You can bump when there are a lot of people in that sub-forum, but then everyone is bumping and launching during that window, so your WSO will move down the page fast (11am to 2pm EST, Monday to Thursday).

Or, you can bump at a time you feel that will allow your WSO to remain steady near the top of the page for several hours or days.

Don't bump it every day unless it falls off of page 2 every day. Otherwise the mods will delete it as it's breaking forum rules.

2:13AM Standard Greenwhich Time. Don't wait until 2:13:12 though as that's too late.

Mine has actually done better after falling off of page 2 than it does on the front page. I don't have JVs and affiliates lined up for it (that's changing this weekend I hope), so it has nothing to do with outside promotion, either.

This I would be interested in seeing. I haven't seen anyone else who has done this before.

I have a lot more experience with the WFH section as I have several ads running there. I generally get my best sales when I hit the middle- to the end of the front page or even the second page. I never bump on a Fri or Sat as the traffic seems to be almost non-existent (to me) on those days.

If you do track the times, PM me and let me know as I'd be interested, like I said.
