What was the reason that you entered into a joint venture with someone?

I am just curious what some of the reasons were why you either needed to enter into a joint venture or wanted to enter into a joint venture with someone else. All comments on the subject are encouraged.

    I don't believe this. Only one person on this whole forum has ever entered into a JV? Well then, I guess I will never be checking out that part of the forum then. If I need any JVs I will be turning to people that have nothing to do with the forum here. Is that what you all are telling me? That is what I am getting from the number. I can't say numbers since it is only 1 that I have to look at.
