Question about getresponse!

With getresponse, is it possible to have different sender names appearing for each of your campaigns? For instance, if i have an active campaign in the IM niche with my real name, can i have another campaign in the weight loss niche with a different sender name and personalty entirely?

    Hi,

You can set up a from field address for each message by chooisng it from the From list drop down. You edit the from field addresses from your profile page --> manage "From Fields." Once you add a new email we'll send you a verification email to confirm the new email and you're all set.

    Regards,
    jim

I'm curious - why can't you ask this question of GetResponse?

I am baffled as to why someone would come to a forum and ask a technical question about another website - especially one with a helpful support team!

Unless, of course, this is just signature spam - designed to get your signature out there, and in front of Warriors.

Please explain - or expect to see people reporting your post - and it disappearing.

This seems like a legitimate enough question to me. I don't know the answer, but I don't care for seeing other Warriors shut someone down for asking a question. That's why this forum is here, is it not?

Any question that is asked here could be answered in some other way, and this forum could just become stagnant.

Some people like to pose their questions to other, more experienced people and have the responses refined and filtered by public scrutiny.

Let's just be calm, and helpful. Shall we?

    Ciao!

This isn't a money making, business or marketing question - it was a question for GetResponse technical support. This is not a question of opinion, or a matter that will benefit from discussion.

This forum is not here for technical support. This forum is not appropriate for that.

Fortunately for the OP we have someone from Getresponse as a member here - so the correct answer was given (and in a timely manner - as I said Getresponse technical support is very good!)

However, if this forum gets choked up by answering technical support questions for other places that it will soon become stagnant.

Or, if the forum simply becomes a place where people come in and ask inane questions to get signature exposure then it will also become stagnant.

So my question to the OP remains - why couldn't you ask this at Getresponse?

Thanks for the kind words Nicola! I think you're asking a fair question, but, perhaps people think because there are so many warriors here, they can crowd source a question quickly. I think just about every service used by IMers has had questions about it posted here.

I'm not taking a side here, just suggesting a possible motivation for the question. And I would like to add that if anyone ever has questions they can always PM me or contact me via Skype or Twitter.

        Regards,
        jim

Go to "my form fields" either via settings or by campaign settings>General>Autoresponder>Add New Email and add an email and select that email.
I think that this is what you're looking for but I am not particularly sure. I didn't really get what you meant and if I gather correctly, I don't think what you're saying is possible.
This is the closest that I could find. You could create a new account but I think that would violate terms and conditions.

It's easy. Click on "My account", then "Manage from fields" and add a new name, and if you want a new email for this name. Then select the campaign and click on the "settings" image at the right of the campaign name, and click on "Permission", and selection your from field.

But next time, try to ask this directly to Getresponse
