Product Pricing - Your Opinion Please?

The product is a physical "kit/system/home study course" comprised of 7 separate manuals plus a 5 CD (audio) pak, and a transcription of the audio CD's on the niche topic. Bonuses include a 2-pak audio CD set on the topic plus certificates good for (1) phone consultation, (1) critique certificate. I might come up with another bonus or 2, but that's the core product.

Anyone care to offer their opinion on price range you'd buy/sell such a system for? Yes, I know I left out the topic and that that could influence your decision; suffice it to say it's a specialized business marketing topic/methodology/system - not for everyone, but for the niche market only.

So, for the core system of 7 manuals plus a 5 audio CD pak, what would you see as lower and upper price limits? I have a good idea for a price range already, thought your input could be helpful and informative...

Thanks for your opinion!

David

    $149.99

    Why?
    1) i don't believe in all that trailing 7 stuff ($147)
    2) reading your offer, i thought it's at least worth $300
    3) for about 150 i'd buy it and i would think "man, that's a steal!"

Do yourself a favor, David... Grab this WSO from fellow Warrior, Paul Hancox:

Seriously, it's great. You'll get far more out of it than any random advice any of us might offer you knowing nothing about the product or market.

    Best,

It's hard to say. Is the target market full of big spenders?
Perhaps tell us the price you've come up with and see what we think.

The niche would determine a lot.

If it was "How To Look After Your Hamster" then $149 is mega-bucks. If it's "How To Start, Build, And Grow A Multi-Million Dollar Busineses" then it's stupidly cheap.

EDIT: I somehow completely missed that you said it was business training related. In that case, $149 seems way too cheap. So cheap people might question how good it is. I'd jump it right up to $297 with a view on going much higher if it continues to sell.
