Is there a way to monitor every new WSO that is posted on that forum, without following every thread for that new post?

Basically I'd like to follow what new WSO's are added there, without having to rely on emails from WSO members.

No ... don't believe so. You'll just have to sit at your computer and refresh the WSO forum if you want to monitor every single new WSO. Don't know why you'd want to do that though

    Hi sbucciarel.

I'd just like to keep an eye on the WSO forum using email alerts, so I can look out for any interesting WSO's I might like to purchase.

WarriorPlus has an alert function where you can alert based on WSO author or keyword.

    Would that be sufficient?

If not, then perhaps it's a tool I should develop (unless someone else already has such a thing)

Thanks Peter. That's the sort of thing I'm looking for. Other WF members might like to follow every new WSO for it's initial launch on the forum. I'd just like to watch the WSO forum for the first post of a new WSO, and get an email alert.

That way I can keep the email for later if I'm interested, and follow it up later. I don't want to get an email for any subsequent posts on the new WSO. otherwise I'd be getting info overload! The option is already there on the forum for somebody to follow all threads in a particular post.

There are dozens of Wso's listed everyday so it would be best to select the seller you prefer or a few top sellers . Otherwise you might get ovrwhelmed with alerts and if you not careful you could end up spending more than you intended to .

So be careful with alerts as you could end up buying stuff that you just park on your computer without using.

That's a good point Haroon, but there is always the delete button. Plus I could use a spare email account just for these new WSO alerts?

This could be implemented as a check box option under a paid members forum CP maybe? Possibly another incentive for members to subscribe to the forum. AFAIK only paid members can purchase WSO's?

I'm not really seeing the benefit of having an email alert. That does nothing that you can't already do by going to the WSO forum itself and going, "Oh, there's a new one." You're just flooding your inbox. How about, instead of subscribing to new threads that look interesting, you simply bookmark the pages for later? You don't have to get emails about WSO's you don't care about, you don't have to hear about every new post, and you can organize them into a nice folder that you can come back to whenever you want.

You might want to try this free WSO. It won't notify you of every WSO,
but purports to provide unbiased reviews of the best and worst ones:

Alerts for every single new WSO is a silly idea I think. You shouldn't be sitting there waiting for things to buy. That's not how you succeed in this business. You should only go looking for products or tools as and when you need them. Anything more is just a waste of your time and money.

If you still want the alerts then just go to the WSO forum each day and browse through the first page. It's going to give you the exact same information your email alerts would only without having to waste your time and resources receiving and deleting dozens of new emails everyday.

There is no need for a service like this.

Don't know why you would want to spend time on this? You're more than likely to get caught up in all the offers and waste money, not to mention waste time that could be used more productiely elsewhere.

But if you absolutely HAVE to, I'd go with the bookmarking as mentioned.

Best bet is to get on a list of a good marketer who doesn't just promote wso's for the sake of making money! I'm on the list of a few well respected warriors who only find good wso's to promote!
I only send out to my list once a month of the best ones I've found that month prior!

Get on many lists and then delete all the over promoters, soon enough you will work out who offers value and who just wants to make a sale! once you have cleaned up your emails you will recieve regular emails with all the best wso's that have been released! Trust me, you don't want to see every new wso when launched!....you'd never have time to do any real work!!!
