    I have three points -
    1. Change the logo make it more attractive and appealing
    2. Centre and tidy up the adsense under the nav
    3. Get some more pics and a video or something all over the front page to make those who come to your site go wow, I wanna do that then dive into the tutorials

Spot on! A nice video on your home page would help, the idea with any blog or website that I go with is to create a flow to your website. You did a good job with the learn free now button, follow those 3 tips, and your blog should be just fine.

He has said the actual issue is getting users to the site not the actual site itself. Although the video point above is a good idea. Create a video then post to youtube put links in the video and at the bottom enticing people onto your site.

Are you wanting to use search engines to get traffic? If so what search terms are you targetting? Do they actually get searched for? What is your ranking for your targetted keywords?

That may be, but if he doesn't fix his site, he's just going to waste perfectly good traffic.

Like everyone else said produce more of your own quality content (videos are great). Also start creating links to your site...there are many tutorials in the SEO section on this forum that you would benefit from reading and implementing to improve your traffic (my advice would be to read one and implement one new thing a day not to get overwhelmed, or to avoid lots of reading and no doing). If you prefer to watch videos then check out the challenge.co they provide some great advice to beginners (even if some of their content is dated). Its good to see you at least took initiative and created the site which can often be the most difficult obstacle for many people to overcome.

The idea about the video is great cheers, the main keywords i am targeting are rollerblading trick tips ( rank 4 in google ) and aggressive rollerblading trick tips (page 3 i believe ) and this website is not really a blog, mainly like a static website with help for users, however there is also a blog side i guess the news section.

Do more keyword research and find out what people want to read. Site looks great and it's a very targeted niche.

I agree the site needs to be a little more attractive and flowing. Also some of the things in the sidebars don't seem to fit it the theme, for instance Blog Roll-WP Themes, I just think it all needs a little housekeeping.

I think you shouldn't make folks jump through hoops. Lead them straight to your tips page, and dont be passive with your "donate" button. Put up a product for sale or find something on Clickbank that visitors can buy. I would also remove the adsense code at the top of the page.

Less copy and pasting from ehow/rollerblading magazine, more original content.

Speaking of, how well do you think a site like this will do with all of the content just copied and pasted.

I agree with many of the above comments. top priority should be original contant. Get a video on the homepage. I would come back to see the tricks being performed on your site. The adsense turns me off a little.
