How much could I get for this site on Flippa?

The site is about 3 weeks old and gets around 20 - 100 hits a day.

The keyword its targeting gets 3200 searches a month and the site is ranked 4th and can only go up.

I was just wondering how much I could get for it on flippa.

Thanks

Matt

  • How much revenue has the site generated so far?
  • Any revenue? Any opt ins? How many uniques per month?
  • no revenue as of yet :S but I do have an affiliate product in the same niche in an article on the site but 0 sales yet
  • Hi, 3200 search per month? Your keyword has a very low search. There is no much value to rank no. 4 for ranking no.4 for such a LOW search keyword.

You must at least target those keywords > 30,000 search per month.

I sold my golf website for USD1000 after 3 months with no revenue. The selling point is that my website has good traffic and is ranked on the first page of Google, yahoo, and bing.
  • 20-100 visitors a day is a HUGE difference. With that unpredictability it would be hard to sell. You also have 0 revenue, it's pretty much a MNS (not good in google's eyes), only 3 weeks old, only 4th place in SERPS.

Unless you have a very high PR(unlikely) it will most likey not sell at the point.

However if you get first in SERPS, 200 plus visitors a day, sales and Adsense clicks, and make it into an Authority Site, you can receive a lot for the site!

Why would you want to sell a site just three weeks young?

    • With no revenue and no significant traffic then you will only get in the hundreds most likely. If the site is unique and no one else owns a copy then you could get as much as $1200. I wouldn't count on getting more though. But you never know whats going to happen on flippa. It may sell for up to $1200 and it may not sell at all.
  • The domain name is an important factor, could add value or nothing, but It's something to consider
  • If you are getting some traffic after 3 weeks I would start going after more related keywords and keep adding content on your site. Get that traffic higher and convert that traffic to sales. Then you will be better off in the long run.
  • I suggest holding it for a couple of months and get some revenue. It is hard to sell a site with no revenue and little to no traffic on Flippa now.
  • keep developing it, create an income stream for that website, expand the keyword and sell it within 6 moths
  • I wouldn't see it going more than $250 bucks. But you might get lucky and get somewhere up to $500 from a newbie. Post #11. That's what you should do. Keep adding more content and build some links not spam the site. And generate some revenue.

  • Go for more keywords than just that one. I'm sure you can get it to rank for more terms. Right now it isn't worth much.
