CTR on BUYSELLADS

Does anyone know what a good CTR would be on buysellads. I am sure there are many variables but just a general idea would be appreciated.

    It does depend on many factors. Lower priced ads will get you a spot that no one really pays attention to. Which means a lower CTR.

    A banner ad like a leaderboard (anywhere from $300-$3,000) will get you maximum exposure which means more clicks.

    That also depends on your banner and how it's designed.

    As for a rough average you can contact the website owner via a contact us page and ask for the average CTR. If you look around the ad sometimes they have the average CTR.

    I have a 125x125 ad on the right side. I am getting .06% CTR. Compared to the last buysellad I tried, this is a massive CTR. I only paid $15 for 30 days so I am not expecting a lot. I was just trying to see if the CTR might be ok or if I needed to tweak the ad.

      When running an ad I always shoot for the 1-3% CTR. My personal preference but it's all about ad testing if if the website allows it ad rotating (different banners)

    Well, that is two to five times what I am getting so I will work up another ad. I belive they do allow rotating ads. If not, I will replace and see.

      Also just a little tip negotiate with the seller off of the buy sell ads platform.

      Use BSA for a connection for people who are willing to sell ad space. Get the price and contact them via their website. Tell them you are willing to pay 1/2 of what they are asking on BSA as a test. Many times they will have no obligations. Tell them they can evade the fees from BSA and also give them $$ directly into their paypal.

      They like that better them having the $$ on hold via BSA. Good luck!

      P.S. Ads that are ugly convert better. Nice isn't always the best route depending on your niche.
