My *SEXY* Contribution To Making You Richer!
I just read a quick email from an online marketer of whom I respect very much. He made a comment about karma, and I thought I'd throw some out there to Warriors. In a moment, I'll explain something (sort of controversial) but powerful nonetheless. Hopefully, it'll help you get richer (money wise).
But, first, the karma part. In his email, he said:
"I believe in Karma.
Start spreading some yourself regardless of how bad
things may seem to be. It will always come back to you
in a positive way."
I agree with him - which is probably why I resonate so much with him and his teachings.
In fact, I'll give him a quick plug because he deserves it. His name is Gauher Chaudhry (and he'll prob be pissed I gave him a plug) and if you want to read an awesome report just go here: http://www.cpahotspot.com (not an aff link)
Anyway, he's a great guy and I really believe in karma myself.
So, here you go:
++++
Although you may not like what I have to say, and although you may not agree with my insights in this post, I certainly believe you will agree it makes people richer.
And, if you take this piece of advice and apply it to your own business and financial ventures, you too may come away with much more money. Now, some will say things like, "I dont measure money as success" and blah blah blah... but I'm not usually one to share spiritual, health, happiness, or loving relationship advice.
I like to talk money.
Therefore, I will say that the piece of advice I'm referring to is: perceived value, or perceived credibility, or "presentation power" or just merely "perception".
No, I'm not saying everyone should run off and start their own guru business - and pull a guru make over. I'm talking about the power of perception. All humans have it. So, use it to your advantage to earn much more cash.
Use it to boost conversions. Because, after all, it's ALL about traffic and conversions, prospects and closing... or just making much more money.
What do I mean exactly...??
Well, people buy because they believe you... right? If they dont believe you, then they dont buy, period. Ever hear someone say, "I think your product is probably great, and I'd love to buy it, and I'm sure it'll help me make more money, but I cant swing X amount of money right now".
Or something like that? It's usually because they dont believe you or your offer. "Sure Eric, I believe your product will make me $42,345.68 in just 36 and 1/2 days, but I cant swing the extra $197 to buy it right now, things are tight."
If they REALLY believed you, wouldnt they find that $197 somehow??
Therefore, when you increase your "presentation/perception/credibility" power, you increase believability factors. Increase that and you'll convert much more, period.
But how?
Just remember this... it's all about presentation. Gurus know this well and present themselves very well - in a manner - that yells "credibility"!!
Ever been to an event?
"For those of you who dont know me, here's a little about me. Here's my kids. This is my new house... this is my ferrari... this is my family on vacation on a private island... this is my new motorbike... etc" Some are better at it than others. And, there's nothing wrong with it. Heck, I do it too.
Because, it increases conversions.
Professional graphic art
Professional videos
raw videos
humor
charisma
entertainment
Top notch copywriting
IMO, these can increase conversions and believability.
But, social proof can severely boost "credibility" (testimonials)
So can titles... and association.
"Best Selling Author"
You know how easy it is to get a book published? You can get your own book printed in 48 hours. You can print 5 of them total, and call yourself a best selling author. Heck, you can sell those five and say it's sold out.
That may sound manipulative, but many-many people do it. I'm not saying you should do that either. I'm saying it to demonstrate my point that many out there understand the power of presentation.
It's actually quite fascinating to me.
Marketers who sell "make money online" products always present themselves in a "credible and authoritative" manner in order to persuade folks to "believe" them. Speakers do this, authors do this, celebrities do this and even "guests" on CNN's Larry King are pimping something....
If I was on Larry King (btw, I met him in Vegas a couple weeks ago) and I was giving my opinion on something... I'd drop a quick statement like this: "Well Larry, I actually wrote about that in depth in my book _______, but this is what needs to happen...."
(...as 239,000 people sitting in bed with their laptops dash over to look up my book)
It's called PR.
And you know what one of the golden rules of PR is?
Toot, toot, toot your own horn.
It's all about presentation. And, there are so many ways you could use it to boost your conversions it's not even funny. It's branding. Some would even call it B.S. - and I'm not arguing that either. I'm the messenger, only here to strike interesting conversations here. In other words, I have no responsibilities whatsoever with how you use this information.
...But, if you use it wisely, it can make you richer.
Warning: Keep in mind, some are so good at presentation, you have to watch out. This person may act like they are the "God Expert In The Galaxy" only to find out later, they are dead broke, live at home with their parents although they are past their thirties, and dont even make enough to own a car of their own...
Anyway, I could go on forever.
But, I want to leave you with this... If you focus on conversions, and put in a ton of effort in increasing conversions, then you'll ultimately end up building a greater business than you initially thought.
I mean, I heard a story of a guy who started out with a well written ebook. He promoted it online via PPC. It did well, he grew it to get more and more publicity and eventually became a best selling "published" author (the real kind). He then went on to even much larger things.
To increase traffic and conversions, he went for PR (public relations). He killed two birds with one stone, and PR can do that (more prospects because you are reaching more people through PR, and higher conversions because now you can put on your site: as seen on Oprah, as seen on Fox News, as seen on Larry King, etc etc)
Lastly, there's nothing wrong with being "behind the scenes" or "under the radar". I respect that and did a lot of that myself. But, increasing conversions should always be your goal no matter what you think about: toot, toot, toot your own horn.
I hope this makes you richer!
