A great (FREE) way to decide what to include and what not to in your info products...

If you are confused about the lessons to include in your info product then this technique will be very useful to you.

What to exclude is as important as what to include in an info product so that the entire info product is designed in a way that the customer takes action and achieves his/her end result.

For example if you are creating an info product about XYZ,

go to amazon.com and identify all the best selling books on the topic of XYZ. Amazon has a feature where you can look inside the first few pages of most books. These pages will have the index in it which will contain all the chapters/topics.

Once you start looking at a few book's index pages you would get an idea of what to include in a product about XYZ. Some topics will be included in every book - which is a clear indication that you need to give more focus on that topic/sub-topic.

Remember: I am not recommending copying anything. This is just for inspiration and decision making. Why reinvent the wheel!

No one ebook is going to have the "perfect" chapter/topic breakdown.

The OP is suggesting looking at the ToC of several books on the topic to see what they include (and don't include).

His suggestion is to go to Amazon where most books include a "Look Inside" feature that allows you to look at the ToC and some content.

For example, if you were going to do a book or product on Yoga, go to Amazon and look at the ToC from a selection of Yoga books to see what common themes appear in multiple books, what themes are only in one or two books and what themes are avoided altogteher.
