Finding value on sites

I'm looking at selling two or three sites that I own.

What's the best way at finding out how much I can get for them (ball park).

I figure I'll sell them on Flippa but I'd like to get an idea on how much I'll be able to get before I pay the Flippa fees.

Ask on forums, dp has a dedicated section for that

Thank you. I'll post it over there and see what happens.

    Thanks

It depends highly on your monthly profit. Normally, you can sell it at 1 to 2 years' of profit. There are other factors to take into account as well.

That site says $2,898. How accurate is that? I mean, if I posted that number on Flippa, would I likely get it?

Thanks. The monthly profit varies a lot which can make it hard. I've made anywhere from about $40 - $800 in a month, though most often at the lower end of that.

If you can answer these, it will make it easier to know the price you can get:

        1) Age
        2) Monetization (Adsense, Banner Ads, Service etc.)
        3) Average Monthly Profit

Also, you can try looking up Flippa's past sales and find similar sites to see what they were sold for.

Age - Just over 4 years (established April 2008)
          2) Monetization - Adsense and a membership option for additional access. Adsense makes an average of maybe $50 per month. Membership makes anywhere from $10-$100 per month depending on what types of things are available that month.
          3) Average Monthly Profit is somewhere around $100 I'd guess. It really goes up and down a lot though depending on the month. An owner who can put in the time and effort could almost certainly raise that up.

If it helps...TrueCheaters.com is the site.

I'd imagine you'd get about $5k on Flippa. Looks like quite an active forum so usual multiples wouldn't really apply.

I would guess you would get anywhere from $1000 to $2500 for that site.

If I had to pinpoint it better, I would go with around $1800.

Btw, those automatic price value sites are worthless.

How much traffic do they get?
How much revenue do they make?
What other assets do they have? Pagerank? Domain age? etc.
