Hi all, I am wondering if it is possible to register for hosting on behalf of my client and still get the affiliate commission?

I don't think so, fraud would be too easy if this was possible. It would be coming from the same IP every time.

You can contact them to ask, maybe they'll make an exception, or maybe I'm just wrong. If you can't you'll likely have to contact them to tell them most of your commissions will be coming from the same geographical location.

Ok I figured I wouldnt be possible as well because of fraud. Sigh So How do I go about convincing Totally offline companies to sign up because they will run the minute they have to do anything on their side besides paying me to do everything...

I know what you mean. Unfortunately, there's no way around it.

I generally just email them with a link to my site that redirects to the host. (Or straight to the plan when possible.) I tell them all they need to do is sign up and forward me the confirmation / welcome email and I'll take care of the rest.

Alternatively, you can resell hosting. $$$ won't be as high, but it's usually steady.

Doing that isn't legal. But signing up other people would work!

Why do you need to sign up your client and make affiliate commission, you might make affiliate commission $50 or so, charge your client $10 per month, they are happy to pay if you can tell them that you will take care of their website and hosting..

Charge them directly, this how one guy is making millions by doing this..

    I hope my suggestion helps..

I thought about getting a reseller package so I can host the sites myself, but the problem is I dont think want to mess with having to support the hosting side of things. But what you saying makes sense.
