I hope this question is in the right section but I am looking for a wordpress theme that relates to green energy, I have searched and cannot find a very good clean bright one. I am looking for a free one if possible.

Why look for a specific free theme related to green energy when you can install a clean simple theme, change the header and background and make it look exactly like you want to?

Check my sig and take a look at what i did with the flexibility theme.

This looks like a good one, albeit it costs $80. (If you buy subsequent themes from StudioPress, they will be cheaper since you already have the framework.)

Hahahah i think you will find it hard to find a free wordpress theme thats looks like you want it to look. I work with Joomla and their is only 10 free Joomla templates to choose from. Just by the template membership its normally worth while. Just insure that you choose one with lots of good plugins, modules and components that word work with your wensite.

I'd recommend you find a premium theme and modify it for your purposes.

Free themes have a lot of restrictions (do you really want your site footer to tell everyone you got your theme for free from the dev?), premium will have more features also.

By modifying a theme instead of going directly for the green niche themes, you'll end up with something unique, as opposed to a design many others in your niche will be using.

If you don't have the money for a theme, I'd recommend you save up until you can afford one (go without a starbucks once in a while, you'll be amazed how much more you can afford to do).

In my opinion there is no need of buying a theme, better use a free one with the stractar you want and change the colors and images. It will not cost you anything and it doesnt need much time or design knowledge to be done.

I Found three themes that you might like. They are also free, of course.

    1. Yoko
    three-column blog theme
    responsive layout
Has different kinds of post formats such as gallery, image, video, aside, link or quotes.
And you can freely customize your own background, link color, and header image.

    2. Twenty Eleven
    is sophisticated, lightweight, and adaptable.
Also with a custom menu, header image, and background
has with a Showcase page template that transforms your front page into a showcase to show off your best content,
With a custom “Ephemera” widget for displaying your Aside, Link, Quote, or Status posts.
And you can choose from six different post formats.

    3. Oxygen
    Minimalistic
mobile-optimized magazine theme with responsive layout.
The main features include a featured post slider,
custom front page template, header, background,
With seven widget areas and three custom menus.

those are I think appropriate with your Green Energy website. They are bright as you wanted and no clutter at all.

    Hope this helps
