OK I have leads... now what?

Hello all... yeah I'm a noob so please take it easy on me

I've been in this "home business" for about a month now, and I have "captured" a list of appx 200 people. I have actually gotten 30 or so people to sign up for the "free trial", and I've gotten 1 guy to "buy in" to this system that I'm marketing.

I've been sending emails to my leads maybe once or twice a week... trying to advertise the benefits to becoming a paid member.

I've even gone so far as "rebating" $100 once they sign up (I have a great-paying fulltime job so the $100 will not be missed), and I offer to create their website and offer web marketing tips... I can't get these folks to sign up.

I sent out an "opt-out" email to give them a "way out" of my emails in case I was aggrevating them, but only a few people actually opted out. Maybe they've "spammed" my email address... I have no idea.

So my question is... what else can I do to entice people to become paid members? Are there any "tricks" that you guys have used to get folks to buy a service or product?

Just trying to get advice from the pros. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks all,

Droopy

Without seeing your offers and copy, it would be hard to say what's going on.

    How about a free trial?

The free trial just gives users their "ad link" so that they can advertise the link and see for themselves if they would be able to get folks to sign up. but they don't get paid anything until they "buy in".

This is one of those "2-up" programs... maybe that's what's scaring folks off, but most MLMs you buy in, then you still owe your :sponsor" portions of your sales... forever almost.

I'll keep working on them, but I was wondering if there were any "tricks of the trade" that I'm missing.
