Biggest Game Changer?

What is the biggest game changer that you have found or used in you IM career? I want to share our experiences and tactics to help each other and get idea juices flowing Ill start:

-The biggest game changer for me was stating to use virtual assistants based in the Philippines. I was able to hire assistants at $1-$2 per hour do various tasks for me that i didn't want to do + generate sales leads. Today i couldn't function without them... well i could but i would have to pay 10X more for US based help/assistants

    Mine's a very specific one, of limited relevance, perhaps.

    But the big game-changer for me, as a ClickBank affiliate, was the sudden decision never to promote either a product with a vendor's opt-in on its sales page or a high-gravity product. That "little decision" took me really quickly from having earned next-to-nothing for a long time to earning a full-time, steady, secure living.

    (I know now, with hindsight, having learned a lot more, that that was because those were the only two really fundamental things I was doing wrong, and I already had "most of the rest of it" right ... but there's usually nobody to tell you at the time what the things are that you're doing that are stopping you from earning anything!).

      Very cool, many times it can be a small thing that really gets the wheels turning, its always nice when you guess right as well

    My game changer? Stepping out of the IM niche when looking for writing clients. Things have grown very quickly since then, and I couldn't be happier. More time on my hands (usually) for other ventures, and much more money for the same amount of work.

    Now if only other writers would do the same...

    Outsourcing jobs you're not really into is the best way to go. Most of the time, they can do the work faster and better...definitely worth every cent. In the company I'm working, I was tasked to produce articles, which is really not my strong point. So we decided to get ourselves actual writers to produce them.

    Question that comes to mind - how does someone from the Philippines generate sales leads for you?
    Or more specific - generate qualified sales leads?
    I've never outsourced before so I'm curious to know how this would/could be done?

      Thats the million dollar question To be honest the best way is just to hire an assistant and start them doing random stuff and see what sticks or makes your life easier at $1 an hour you pretty much cant lose

    The biggest difference to my bottom line was when I started to promote high ticket items and promoted recurring income services. As i write this, i just made a $1000 commission without having to do any extra work on my end, plus, that person is now in a recurring system where I get paid every month they continue to stay. They will stay though because the system is quality.

    On the flip side. The day I stopped building websites solely for search engine rankings was a changer too.

    My biggest game changer was discovering that the whole 'make money online' niche is hard!........and by chasing far less competitive niches, things became easier and whole lot more satifying!

      I would have to say it was when I realised that it's not that hard, just follow a proven success path and stick with it, and DO THE WORK, and the results will come!

      This I guess was learned when I signed up for Tristan Bull's coaching and he opened my eyes to just how simple it should be!

    My biggest game changer has been the Warrior Forum including the War Room! Without a doubt the best collection of free information, tips, shortcuts, and cutting edge marketing. This is my go-to source to get the correct information on ANY IM related topic.

    Not a game changer but super important!
    1. Realizing that about 50% of the posts on the WF are incorrect or incomplete and about 50% are gold nuggets.
    2. Realizing that about 50% of the golden nuggets are actually product specific, niche specific, geographical specific, business model specific, target audience specific, marketing method specific (free, SEO, email, paid, etc). Some of the adamant opposing voices can ALL be correct depending on a multitude of factors that are unique to that person's situation.

    If my experience is common there might be many of us that would have given up the game if it were not for the WF. I would suspect that some of the "game changers" that end up being posted in this thread will have been originally gleaned from this forum.

    My biggest game changer was when I got laid off from an internet marketing company with a bad reputation and made the decision to provide consulting services on my own. I now work from home and make more than 3x as much as when I put in 40 hours a week at a job.

    Plus working for yourself provides much greater rewards such as self accomplishment because you created something valuable instead of being told what to do. Starting a business isn't for everyone but for those of us with the drive, intelligence, and personality (for marketing) I highly recommend to get started today.

    No question, the biggest game changer for me was releasing my first infoproduct (my own ebook), business went to an entirely new level and became a REAL business instead of a part-time hobby. Never looked back...
