Does this mean I can't get any reviews??

Being new to all this, I posted in the Warriors for Hire section. Someone asked for a review so I was going to post a request for a couple of people or so to try my service free of charge in the appropriate section.

After reading the rules, I now see that any review request posts must be closed before you actually sell the product or service. Oops! Newbie mistake 1.

Is there anyway around it or is it just too late??

As far as I know, you are still allowed to offer a few free review copies from your Warrior for Hire thread. It's the WSO section that you aren't supposed to post in until after you close your review thread. You don't need to post a separate ad for that.

Thats how I read it too. So,
      1) develop the product
      2) post a [reviewers wanted] post in the warriors wanting to hire you section
      3) after it is approved, pay for it
      4) when you have enough reviews, close it out
      5) post your wso thread and get it approved
      6) pay for it and bring it live

Getting reviews just adds one more layer of time before launch, but its worth it.

Nothing wrong with contacting trusted warriors and politely asking thenm to review your product! some will oblige and some won't
