How to make Affiliate Sales Today with No List?

I don't mean to sound unsupportive or unsympathetic, but if I needed to make money today and had no list, making affiliate sales wouldn't be one of the first things I considered. In fact, it wouldn't occur to me at all.

Freelancing, are you talking about "today" as in 21 of July 2012, or as in the current times? (Yes, I know, sometimes I'm slow.)

If money is a problem, AWeber has a $1 trial that lasts for 30 days, and GetResponse has one month free, if I my mind doesn't play tricks.

Yes. I know a list is not necessary.

For example, I can pay someone to promote my affiliate link to their list. That's 1 way.

Any other ways? Thanks.

  I just build product review sites and make serious bank doing so. It's really not complicated. As long as you target products that you can rank for and you target people at the right stage of the buying cycle, you will make sales.

Making videos on YouTube with hot sellers and ranking the video
well can help you, but sales usually take 2-3 days to come in.

This is not a new idea. Some of us having been doing it for years. There is a lot of competition.

So, unless you have a well researched, well optimized video page and sales funnel set up and know how to get qualified traffic on a consistent basis then...good luck with that..

There are literally hundreds of different ways.

- You can join in Yahoo Answer and promote your link buy commenting on relevant questions.
- Forum signatures are another great options.
- You can create a facebook fan page/account and regularly publish quality contents on it to attract fans/friends to visit your affiliate link.
- So you can do using twitter.
- Try pinterest.
- You can create some videos and post the videos into video sharing sites and then digg the videos, post the videos in identi.ca and son on.

These are just basic methods. But there are some mind blowing techniques that I would not tell you here. lol.

SocialDemon covered most of the methods I was thinking of.

You can also:

rent a list and email them
you can also do a little article marketing
do a webinar
do a local Meetup
do some creative marketing to people on the street

Continue to read as much as you can here on the WF and take action. Hopefully, you will find a method that resonates with you and builds on some of your strengths.

In addition to what has already been mentioned...

- Press releases
- Write an ebook and give it away with the ebook
indirectly promoting a product. Yes, I can write several
ebooks in a day

- Register to promote a webinar as an affiliate and then
list that webinar as an event on Facebook
- Blog in text, audio or video, showcasing a product
in the process
- Publish an ebook to Amazon with bounce-back to an
affiliate offer inside the ebook
-Join relevant groups on Facebook, LinkedIn or any other
social media site and share relevant content that includes
product recommendations

Build a list and promote your own products, with an autoresponder and some free resources.

Set up an instant sales page on JVZ offering a PLR product in the $7 - $27 range.

At the top of your page put something like" An email has been sent to you...be sure to check spam folder...while you're waiting...

Now this assumes you have a way to deliver your freebie. If you don't, Google sites has a free file manager. You will use JVZ protected download to deliver your paid product.

Now go to your autoresponder and set up a "hosted form," which means it is hosted on their site. Find a template that enlarges well, to about 500p wide (a lot of them don't) design and save your form and go to the "publish" page.

You want to click have Aweber host my form. This will produce a url where you will send your traffic. Input the values in your list setup for submission to take opt-ins to your OTO on JVZ. Input your thank you page or download link in your confirmation url.

You won't be able to post your form url with some advertisers, but I have these running on FB and the display url is forms.aweber.com and people still click and opt-in like gangbusters.

I set one of these up last night using FB traffic and so far I am being paid around $0.02 per subscriber (124 submissions, 47 confirmed as of right now) added to my list with a OTO sale in less then 12 hours of FB ad approval.

I set the whole thing up in under 4 hours. If you buy PLR with included sales copy you can do it faster.

So there's one method I know works.

Post context-specific comments on sites powered by Facebook comments. Drop your link in a responsible manner and ONLY in context. Part of being in context means the link adds value to the discussion. It takes a lot of filtering and SENSITIVITY to the community's NEEDS but it is doable. Don't spam. Spam = posting unrelated stuff or stuff that wasn't asked for by the discussion.

I'm wondering why would you not want to build a list? You're earning per customer would be exponentially higher so why wouldn't you. If it's money I would say think long term about your business and short-term provide some kind of service to others. You can even broker services and make a profit.

It's not impossible at all. Personally, I have found list building to be the fastest and most stable form of online marketing, but there are tons of other ways to make money on the internet if you do a little research.

If you are serious about producing an online income, it's important to understand that you should never keep all of your eggs in one basket. Meaning that you should establish several income streams, and you should never stop looking for new ones or new ways to make money online. However, don't bite off more than you can chew.

As for making money fast, I would think PPC would be your best bet. There are several great networks out there where you can get clicks for as low as .01-.05 per click.

I recently took a course that introduced me to 25 or so of these networks. So far, I have only been playing around with it, as I focus mainly on list building. But, I've made a little money pretty quick, and if it's scaled up properly it could be a full-time income producer.

Making money without a list is seem to try to take the easy way out but is possible. The best thing to do is PPC with adcenter.

Well, it's better to have a list, but if you don't have the time to attract people and get their e-mails, you can start a Facebook fanpage as well as a small website. Get as many fans as you can and drive them to your site.

start submitting with a good ad think search engine optimization for every ad no matter where you find to submit it. you know how to research on the net go see what people are tooting off about re the best places to submit ads for affiliates.

If you want to do this first then start building a site and list then go for it a lot of advice here but if you need to learn to do site building/listbuilding things its to your best interest to get a little experience and money under your belt and then take the time to do the other stuff right the first time. You can't just build a site theres much more to a list and site then just building it trust me.

Hi 'Freelancing10'

You've been a member here since May 2010, so you likely know that if you treat IM like a hobby, it will always be a hobby. What I mean by this is that asking for immediate gratification (making money today), will likely result in lack of forward planning and of course poor ROI.

There are many ways to make money quickly on the internet, yet if you become too focused on just this goal, the 'winds of change' very quickly alter your course and you stop making money as quickly as it began! This leads to frustration seeping in, and subsequent bad decisions being made (and money being lost) and hopelessness and helplessness flowing in. I know this sounds very depressing, but it does happen if not enough planning and foundation building takes place.

Focus on making money 'tomorrow' with the focus on 'today', establishing a strong foundation first. There are plenty of great WF strategies and techniques to make this happen.

Just my '2 cents worth'.
