Any Luck With CraigsList?

Is anyone getting any results by advertising on Craigslist? I don't get anything but an inbox full of spam and messages from would be scammers who want to pay for digital products with bad physical checks.

Hi Jon, Craigslist works best when you are selling items from amazon or ebay. Most people go on there to buy or sell such items. However, you can not add an affiliate link directly, you will need some sort of landing page.

Of course, you get results from that. But today, email marketing is not that effective unless you put really attractive banners. If you simple write a wall of text, don't expect to receive any sales or anything.

Criaglist use to be good. But it is tough with all the spammers. The best thing you can do is build your own list or even build a Facebook list of fans to sell to.

I don't really mess around with CL these days, but about 18 months ago I was targeting medium size cities with job listings that would lead to an indeed.com listing after passing through an ad.fly advertising page.

Boring ass work and I think I made a whopping $10 after six months of doing it. Sometimes you just gotta write a bad idea off as such lol.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

I used GL some years back to sell two cars and some furniture it worked out well. But when I tried to sell a digital product with an affiliate link it got removed after a few days.

I picked up a few mid-range writing clients from Craigslist a few month back. Outside of finding those in need of a service, I haven't tried advertising. It feels kind of spammy to me.
