Anyone tried buying solo ads to wso?

Has anyone here tried to send traffic with solo ads to their WSO or to some other kind of info product? or it's just good for building a list?

(I want to send traffic to the guide that is in my signature)

    yeah it would work but you need a squeeze page as most solo vendors don`t send traffic direct to sales page

    set up a basic squeeze page with a quality free offer and then use your wso as the OTO

    i have used this strategy before when i used one of my wso`s as an upsell and it worked really well

    thanks. I just didn't wanted to invest more time in this, I have bigger projects.
    I did found somebody who agreed to send solo ad directly to my offer for now.

    I agree with using the ad to build your list and then having the offer as your OTO.

    Once the people have subscribed to your list you can present the offer to them multiple times and tell them why they should buy it instead of that one time if you send traffic directly to the offer..

    I did try solos to info product but not wso.
    JV Rockets mailing list was responsive.I invested $2k and made almost $6k.
    Also advertising in the news paper classifieds is cool if you can do it well.

      With regards to JV Rockets, I found their solos to be a bi pricey. Do you have a blog where you compare sellers?

    YES, BUT...

    Always Always, Always send your solo ad traffic to a proven converting squeeze page!

    Once they optin you can automatically redirect them to your WSO sales page!

    Have run of a 7 day solo ad in the back end promoting your WSO sales page for a better sales conversion!

    Just make sure to segment your buyers off your free list so they don't get annoyed at receiving the same promo email after they just bought the product at first glance!
