Do you guys use cragislist marketing?

Hi,

i planned on posting a craigslist ad every single day
for ALL 5 of my niches...

then, i found out this in wikipedia about craigslist:

* Don't post more than 1 ad in 48 hour or your IP will be soft-banned, if you abuse too often the whole C-class and later the whole ISP will be soft-banned and require a phone verified account to continue posting.
* Do not repost the same product or service within a 48 hour period.

how do you do craigslist ad every day? or can you?

i would like to know from people who have done this consistently...thanks

    I used to post over 100 ads a day using various software programs and outsourcing. Once the spammers,myself included started flooding CL with crapola they started implementing different forms of security and it just became a waste of time in my opinion, BUT I still have AWESOME success marketing LOCALLY and establishing contacts! Craigslist is still very effective if done right, I know a guy in town that makes a couple grand every week selling sinks in the 'materials' section!

    I probably wont be able to reply after this post, its late where I live but pm and I'll give you all kinds of advice!

    "so what do you suggest to do?" That depends on what 5 niches your marketing your products in and where your posting the ads. I was posting to the top 22 sites at the time and mainly targeting the 'JOBS' section, now I'm lucky if one of my posts doesn't get 'ghosted'

    Right now I'm having alot of fun posting in the barter section and the free section, I could write books about my online/offline ventures courtesy of CL.

    - post 5 ads every day (for 5 niche) in the for sale - books category (for my ebooks) using the SAME email address
    - do this for 30 days

    would i be flagged for that type of activity?

      Hard to tell. Some will, some won't. I have issues with some of the flaggers out there that think they need to save the world from anything commercial. If done in a non-spam way and in the right section I see nothing wrong with advertising. The plumber is trying to advertise to gain income, why not the info merchant?

    Best thing to do is to outsource this work to experts on CL marketing . CL is a wonderful asset to any biz if done correctly
