Wordpress tips needed for affiliate marketing

Hi. As the name suggests I am just another guy who wants to make money online. I am very new to internet marketing but as far as I researched, affiliate marketing, is one of the most used monetizing options.

Recently I bought a pretty good domain, purchased a small but pretty good vps hosting, and got a good Wordpress review theme.

I am planning to put some good quality reviews on the site, and some video reviews on youtube, also a Twitter and Facebook account is ready for social marketing.

I am planning to use several tips given here and there about site and video SEO, so I hopefully get some traffic.

I would like to hear from you - experienced marketers - about achieving success in my "review project". I especially need to hear about Wordpress plug-ins which you found useful and helpful for Amazon associates.

Any other tip on SEO, other affiliate networks besides Amazon, other kinds of plug-ins, themes, and copywriting in general would be greatly appreciated.

    Make good content and work on getting traffic. Do good keyword research and get backlinks.

    It's worth signing up to Amazon Associates in all of the markets it operates - not just your home market. And use a plugin like Amazon Link to ensure that your visitors always see a localised version of your affiliate link.

    Depending on your niche, you might want to look in ShareaSale and Google Affiliate Network as well. And if it's an area that truly interests you, consider building an authority site.

    As far as plugins that prove helpful, that will also depend on the type of affiliate site you're building, but a few must-have plugins I use include Google Analytics (for stats and tracking), All-in-One-SEO, a link manager plugin (for shortening of affiliate links, branding, and tracking), and Limit Login Attempts (for basic security because the last thing you need is for your affiliate site to be hacked).

    Try and stay focused and dont chase every possible scenario. I used to try every single thing and read every WSO I could get my hands on, now I just focus on Offline marketing. Become really good at whatever youre going to do and then roll in the paper.

    I do very, very well as an Amazon affiliate.

    The best advice I can give you is to stick with niches and products that you are familiar with. Target low-competition products that are easy to rank and make sure you provide helpful info for your visitors. Also, be sure you catch people late in the buying cycle.

    Oh... Stay away from Amazon plugins that simply pull in and post Amazon product info. Chances are good that your visitors have already been to Amazon.

    If you stick to low competition products, you can focus on content and not have to spend much (if any) time with manual backlinking chores. I personally do no manual backlinking for my sites and I prefer it that way

    Your task is to market your blog is one of the many ways it was you can use the forum, advertising, blogwalking, etc.. so your blog will get a lot of traffic from there. because the more traffic it will be more money.

    The "All-in-One SEO" plugin is a definite. Also, find blogs (start with the ones that outrank you), and do some blog commenting. Make sure your comments are relevent to the page on which you post. The only place your url should go in the the website url box.

    Also, find some forums in your niche ("niche + forum") in Google search. Add to the conversations. Put your blog url in the forum signature section. This is an easy way to start getting backlinks (help to rank your site in the search engines), traffic, and some commissions.

      what I am thinking for you,

      1. 1st Become an affiliate with some good sites
      2. then post them as a post of wordpress with image and other option from that product or service. And Of course some reviews from that site. Be sure that your image focus on the product or service very good.

      Actually a plugin which available in market is not so good enough as per your requirements. So better to follow the tricks and get more visitor with the page title and content.

    Amazon is something that everyone will suggest first. However personally prefer to work with the affiliate programs directly. I mean almost every serious company/product has its own affiliate program which usually pays more than Amazon and other mutli-product aggregators.
