The idea for facebook was stolen from the winklevoss's

windows operating systems was mostly designed by apple

all those guys stold money from there stock holders did time but when they got out there was a fortune waiting for them.

what do you think are they winning?

They win if you give up and quit.

If Apple gave up they wouldn't be super strong today.

Look at Microsoft... nobody trusts them and they couldn't get a good following if they paid people to follow them. Every product since Windows has been a flop... though they would never admit it. Their days are numbered.

Everyone one of those people who stole from their investors are being made to pay.

If you have only one book in you worth writing... then you probably would not have lasting success either. Because all it would take is a new twist or angle and then guess what... nobody is buying your book. They need to copy a single word that you wrote for this to happen.

I recommend to open your mind to new possibilities and not worry about such things. Keep working and take every setback as an opportunity to expand beyond where you were.

microsoft has bing and 8% of the search market last i checked. they are still publicy traded worth billions. every I know is currently using pc witht he latest version of windows. I know people bitch about it but they still buy the windows based computers.

the people who defrauded there investors the one mci last I heard was living on an island in a mansion.

the problem of course my account had several books in it and only one was called into question but my entire account is blocked. I am starting to think that the biggest criminals on the interet are the big dogs of the internet.like amazon,ebay, facebook, google. how do I grow A business in the face of having deal business 's that will protect their bottom line even if it squashes yours and it don't appear to matter of your were working it legitamately or not.

There are lots of things one could say about this quote above - what I will say is this: If you are that worried about the "big dogs" crushing your business, then here is a suggestion: Don't build your business on their platform.

Instead of google, use other traffic methods.
Instead of selling Kindle Books, sell ebooks on your own. etc. etc.

If you build your business using resources you own and control (domains, hosting, email lists, etc.) then you are far less likely to have this issue.

Just a friendly suggestion.

No help! but thanks for trying
selling on my own means a merchant account or paypal or something like that. you no matter what you do you have to deal with one of them. build an email and someone forgets they opted in or just to lazy opt and complains to your service provider or worse if your an affilaite they complain to the people whose product trying to sell and bam your dead in the water. what I mean by the criminals winning is .

for example to build an email list it would have to be double opt in. someone will eventually complian even if they opt in. thats just how people as soon as it becomes inconvient they complain. However a spammer sending millions of spam messages get bitched but they use every trick in the book to hide thier identity. Yes they eventually get caught. after having made insane amounts of money. meanwhile the account they highjacked gets banned. but he don't care. I gotta believe these companies don't care if honest people get cuaght in the crossfire. I have to believe they are smart enough to set policies that don't mess with the honest bussness person since they don't do this I imagine they just don't care because people just assume your a crook, when they here you are blocked/banned.

you have a defeatest attitude, You gotta re-evaluate your thinking and decide this is NOT going to bring you down. Perhaps there are some places you cannot tread upon but there is more then one way to do things on the net. I KNOW YOU WON't Quit or think like this anymore Right?

Merchant accounts are a dime a dozen nowadays. Get 2 or 3 (backups) along with paypal.

Build your email list using software and a dedicated server. (You own it)

Dude, if every business thought like you do - no one would do anything. You are far more likely to fail due to lack of profit than by getting shut down on someone else's turf anyway. Business is risk and if you can't stand the risk, don't start a business.

If you want (apparent) security, go get a JOB and career. We are entrepreneurs, risk takers, and business junkies here. If you don't want to play like that, then get out of the sandbox.

Think this is excellent advice today being your own publisher is easier then ever. Like the ebay idea too. I have tended to try to stay away from doing big dog stuff. Squidoo just about made me nuts. Alot to nonsense over nothing. We are all just people trying to do the right thing and they are like giant mallets going after the gophers (who are just trying to survive) sometimes. I will say you learn to get a think skin from it. And that is always good. In this world you need a thick skin.

You do know the real money is starting your own big dog service, earn from advertising and submission my smart cousin told me that. Just leave the mallet behind.

Take it to copyscape first and see if you find duplicate content. Then if you do and it is extremely duplicate then you will know if they had a right to do what they did, or did they just get a complaint and take the easy way out.

how? I can't controll what other people put on their websites. the worst I can do is send them irate email. which will most likely be deleted.

Almost every publisher is getting this message.

Some of the people that get this message have found their books have been pirated and are being offered for free so it's a good be their bots found these other references of the book and are simply making sure that you are the book owner and have the sole rights to publish it.

In all recent cases replying that you have the sole copyright and giving them the url of your websites or wherever you promote the book from have been all that is needed to get your account reinstated.

they just said documents, no mentioned of urls. I believe before someone is accused of something there should be some proof. Not it that I am opposed to proving myself not guitly, it just seems b.s. way to get free content. I did mention in an earlier post that my content which they are saying they don't know if i have the rights is still vaialble for sale on amazon. Say what you will but profiting of this content and not paying the author is illegal and should be removed if they think it is was illegally uploaded but that won't happen.they will just keep collecting the cash for it.

The criminals arent winning. You just had a bad experience with Amazon. Ebay would treat you better. If you dont mind driving to the post office everyday and shipping products off... you can make a ton of dough.

I think business ideas are just ideas without proper execution it will not even work, if facebook was deterent to do business just because another company was already doing it, then they surely be sorry,... think of Coke and Pepsi... When it comes to duplicate content that is another story. Verify via copyscape, remember criminals only win if you let them..
