Why Does The Help Desk Never Respond?

Hi there, I have submitted an inquiry to the Warrior help desk (twice now) and I never get a response...I even listed the matter as critical. How do you get a reply? What is the best way to get a hold of a moderator? Thanks

Nate

When did you submit them? Did you give an appropriate amount of time between submitting? What's so urgent?

I very rarely need to contact the help desk but Thomas has always got back to me in a very short period of time and in a very pleasant manner as well.

There are half a million members here and only one Thomas (that I'm aware of). He simply may not have had time yet.

    Never?

Don't you mean... You haven't got a response yet?

Contrary to popular belief, Mods and help desk folks
have lives and businesses of their own.

If your request was submitted over the weekend it's likely
to take longer for anyone to get back to you.

They were/are probably sleeping when you sent the ticket. I've never seen the help desk advertising a 24/7 response team. Patience is a virtue, and more importantly, a lack there-of is not a reason to make a post about.

The WF has been around a long time. I imagine it plans to continue. Most likely you will receive a response soon.

And most likely, your request is both specific and warranted; but here's just another perspective, there are some matters which, in their discretion, will not be responded too. This is the purview of the WF. For example: Does you inquiry fall under a common topic covered in the FAQs or Sticky post? Or, might your inquiry fall outside the scope of this forum? Or, might your inquiry be related to a dispute with another member?

Also, you might search the forum for others asking similar questions. Then you might PM another member who may offer you some specific insight.

I hope everything works out for you. Good luck.

Different time zones and different sleeping patterns may be the issue here.

I am sure if you allow some time they will eventually get back to you. Have a look around the forum, use the search function tool and look at the FAQ's to see if there is something that can help you out some how.

Hope this helps and have a great day my firend!!!

      Nate,

      Sometimes "no answer" means "No."

I suspect the issue you're describing is just a matter of timing, but that's irrelevant right now. I saw the multiple reports you filed using the "Report Post" icon, and I decided not to delete the post in question.

I don't know if the complaint you reported is unfair or not. I do know that it is within the rules, and comes from a paying customer. That means it's up to you to choose how to deal with it, and it's up to you to settle the issue with your client. The fact that you chose to reply by publicly accusing them of various unpleasant things didn't help your case.

I think something needs to be clarified, for you and a number of other people here: The function of the moderators is to enforce the rules. Not to keep sellers from having to deal with dissatisfied customers.

I don't care how good you are. Sell enough, and you'll have them. Learn to handle it.

By the way, just as a way for people to understand something about this forum that they may know intellectually but not grasp on a gut level...

Nate's first report of the "problem" in question was around noon his time. It was after 9 PM on a Sunday evening in Thomas' time zone. Then, when he hadn't received a response a whole 4 hours into a Monday's business (again, Thomas' time), he comes in here claiming the help desk never responds.

That's odd, I've never had a delay with the Help Desk. Thomas has always been helpful.

    Best of luck,

    Hey Nate,
Your number of post saying that you are here for a good period of time. So I think you should know about the rules and system about this forum.

"I even listed the matter as critical" your this sentence mean that you was in OR you are in trouble in that time and that loose your nerves.. I think you are bit angry type of person and always want your things after you said. Are you the 2nd children of your Parents ? If so then it's your habit to get the things just after your said..

But Nate you should understand that this is a public place and the person who running this forum ... he is not your family member.. so you just say and it will happen and if not done then you can show your emotion or attitude. Also you should keep in mind that.. we are not paying any single penny for our post and the help or knowledge we are taking from this site. So that the site owner is bound to give us support after a post made...

So be careful next to post anything so that you will not need the moderator or the forum owner to solve your problem immediately ...

Hope you understand... Nate.. stay with us....
