Are all WF members affliate marketers?

I'm relatively new here and love the information I get. So thank you all in advance for the great information you provide here!

I do have to adapt it to my needs though as I've never really done affiliate marketing. I mainly market long term brands & products - nothing that is a quick shot and then move onto the next. So I work the strategies into what I'm doing but with a whitehat spin when possible.

Would a WSO on how I was able to build a brand and drive traffic to get 100,000 signups, 220 earned press mentions and 3 awards in 11 months be even appealing to folks on this forum? Just checking, as I don't want to invest the time & effort if the audience is only looking for a quick hit.

I'm in awe of some of the numbers and members in the WF - they are outrageous. People getting thousands upon thousands of visitors to their product in 48 hours etc. Maybe what I did is too slow and therefore not as impressive?

Honestly, I'd prefer your approach. I like the long-term strategies a lot better than the "flash in the pan" stuff that most of the people here do. I'd rather know that my income will be coming in, month after month, year after year, than know I can make a quick buck with nothing to fall back on.

And I'd love to at least read how you did it, if not talk to you as well.

    Hi Mark

No - we are not all affiliate marketers. I am sure your WSO idea would have some appeal - though, personally, I don't think it would fly.

I sent an email to you. I'd recommend editing your other comment and taking out the email address, though, as it'll get scraped and sold to spammers like crazy. Trust me.

IMO, that the information relating to your experience would be worth much more than what most of the popular WSOs are selling for.

That said, I'm sure there are some creative ways to introduce a portion of your information via a WSO in order to obtain feedback and expand/enhance your offering.

Also, don't think of "all WF members" as your audience. Even if your offering only appeals to a small percentage of WF members, it could still be quite profitable.

Maybe try to serve those that your offer appeals to and use them to help refine your offer. Then put it up on Clickbank, etc. and let the affiliates go to work for you.

I seldom promote affiliate products to my customers. However when there are times where i need to sell "something" to my customers... i head over to Clickbank to see what would be the perfect product to offer.

I would say most IMers are Affiliate Marketers. It's a simple business model. You find the customers and sell them the products they are looking for.

I have many strategies and techniques I use (successfully) that I have been asked to coach or launch a WSO but I really don't have a pressing need to promote my own products. I do so well selling for others. And when you find great products on Amazon, Clickbank or CPA networks it's really not that hard to sell.

      Not an affiliate marketer here.

I decided if I was going to work hard for something, I'd rather work hard for my own something.

I know people who do wonderfully with it, but it's just not my forte.

I think most of them are in "How to make money online" type niche. I am starting out in affiliate marketing and just getting my stuff started. I'm in the process of just editing a website I had created and also promoting the niche via media. I'd like to read your stuff as well so how and where do I find that? I guess I'm now afraid to leave my email here as someone said I will get spam email. I can't PM you yet because of my status here. Maybe you can PM me?

I would say the large majority are, but there are also many others who come here for solid work such as article writing, link building, graphic design etc.

You could always start it cheap and launch it as a dimesale. There are hundreds of thousands of people on here and I'm sure it will appeal to some people.

Is it just me or does the title of this thread have absolutely nothing to do with the actual first post? All I could see was someone trying to get some feedback on their WSO idea.

There is a LOT more that goes into a successful WSO than just the product itself. It would be nice to think great products are the ones that sell really well and crap products don't sell at all -- unfortunately that is not always the way things work around here.

For that reason it is impossible for any of us to tell you with any amount of certainty as to whether or not your WSO will or will not be a success.

Launch it and you will see.
