    How do you define success?

I'm sure we all have different definitions of the word.

    I mean it could be...

    ... The richest?
    .... The healthiest?
    ... The happiest?

I mean, unless you define what you mean - it's a hard question to answer.

This is a business-orientated forum, and in business there's ultimately only one metric to define success: money.

Fair enough, but what good is an income if you aren't healthy and happy? True success is multi-faceted.

Couldn't agree more. Any financially successful person who is also happy and fulfilled would list a bunch of other metrics, other than money, as a measure of real success.

I have one particular customer who has a net worth of 1.4 billion dollars and he would gladly give it all up if he could get his health back to normal.

As far as naming the most successful Warriors of all time. That would be tough. But any list should have the forum's owner, Allen Says, on it. His marketing lessons have dramatically impacted how I build my businesses from the ground up.

Your point would certainly apply in the Philosopher Forum or the Enlightened Forum, but in the Warrior Forum (aka business forum), money is the number one metric to define success.

Of course, your argument is kind of hinging on the idea that we collect this money and then hoard it, instead of doing anything with it. You know, like taking care of health, happiness, and enlightenment.

If it were all about money, we'd just be talking about paper and numbers on computer screens. There are other motivations behind the money other than simply having as much of it as possible .

Or if you have no one special to share it with?

Then you could only hoard it which would be wasting it because you can't take it with you when you go, or share it with people who mean nothing to you like merchants, banks and their fees, those that hold your notes, the government in taxes, thieves, etc.

Where's the fun or use in that?

Besides, I don't know why you're even mentioning these two people, we only talk about money here.

Let's see. If he was smart...

He grabbed the deed to the Jedi Temple.
Made sure he benefited from Amidala's death.
Probably had a little side business going on all the planets he terrorized.
I imagine being the Empire's number 2 pays pretty well.

Of course, with suit maintenance and 898 gallons of ice cream a week (it's a not-so-well-kept secret that he kept whining about his wife's death all the way until ROJ), he probably broke even from month to month.

I haven't been around the internet marketing world long enough to make any sort of accurate list of my favorite three marketers, however I can say that I do have a favorite. Alexa Smith.

Her insightful posts have helped me better understand many different aspects of internet marketing and her advice is applicable to almost any niche. Although Warrior Forum is full of competent, friendly, and helpful members, I have a special place in my digital heart for Alexa Smith.

And should I mention that the signature line in her posts is one my favorite sentence fragments ever!!!

Why do all these dooshbags answer the questions like this? Just answer the way you think. Why do you always gotta say, "Well, It depends" just answer in your version of what you think he's asking.

Sheesh,, no one can answer simple question anymore here, Peopl always gotta go,, "well,, there's many ways to answer" 'depends on what you mean" , Shut up with that "depends" stuff and just answer the question,, like this,,, Mike Lantz,,, see how easy that was??????

It's one of those things about which everyone has their own view, and there really isn't a "right answer", I think?

I'm not sure how convincingly I could defend my "top three" choices, but off the top of my head, I go for Alexander the Great, Sun Tzu and probably Hannibal, myself.

    Welcome to the Forum.

It is really hard to tell as you would have to first define success and then collate their earnings/influence/popularity etc. and finally compare them. Not an easy thing to do.

Vlad the Impaler was pretty hard too.

Julius Caesar is up there as well.

        oh and Macaulay Culkin, obviously.

Everybody caring to will give you a different answer to this. I guess I will go with this, on the basis of running successful online business:
    1. The owner of the Warrior Forum (and I don't even know his name) - think of all the money he rakes in from War Room memberships, WSOs, classified ads, bumps and so on, and so on. Every day.
    2. Mike Lantz - went into the market of running affiliate programs for WSOs. Found a way to compliment the Warrior Forum.
    3. Kenster comes to mind. Self-taught CPA Guru. Although of course he knows more stuff than just CPA.

Well money isn't a measure of success for me. There's no point having a huge bank account if all you do is sit in a dark lonely room in front of your computer.

Your job should only ever supplement your lifestyle -- not the other way around. In a lot of countries people live to work. You should work to live.

So it's impossible for me to know who are the most successful. They are the people who have an online business that has allowed them to live the life they have always dreamed of. For some people that's only earning a few thousand dollars a month to supplement their regular job. For other people it is earning hundreds of thousands of dollars a year that makes them happy.

Happiness = Success. Each persons idea of happiness is different.

I would have it a very good guess that when it comes down to it, a lot of the guys on this forum making the BIG money are not actually happy at the end of the day.

Lets just assume you are referring to top 3 guys that can take you far and wide in the Internet realm.

    1. Crew Chief (a retired U.S marine/head of intelligence, alot of you don't know him, he has been here for quite sometimes and went on a special mission abroad shortly after Sept 11 attack, it was suppose to last for 3weeks but ended up lasting for 2yrs. When it looks like I was sleeping, he came and woke me up from slumber and put me in front of $50, 000 monthly, am not close to that in anyway but already have blue print, today I can do marketing, SEO, graphics, affiliate, adsense, CPA, video marketing e.t.c. He doesnt hide anything, gives everything and very dedicated. I still wonder how he managed to be so vast, well I can go on and on about this guy).

    2. Steve Wagenheim (I wonder where the hell is this guy right now, he didn't coach me directly because his charges were too high for me then but his days here were filled with hot argument, revelations and innovations. I learnt so much from his contributions here and his blog stevewagenheim dot com. He is a copywriter and super affiliate, this guy can sell anything under the sun).

    3. Alexa Smith (a long standing member, kudus lady. I love this lad, crazy in love with her niche and hard to replace. Back then each time I have problem or challenges I run to her and always quick to reply even if it's not her area she will direct me to the right person. Through her the idea of abitrary services was born in me since then I became a jack of all trade and master of all. Thanks Alexa but she stopped responding to my PM long ago after I misjudged her, apology ma).

    TOUGH question.

    VERY tough question.

If you'd asked "Who do you think are the 2 most Successful Warriors of All Time?"
I'd have answered in a heartbeat...

#1 - Allen Says (who is the mastermind behind the Warrior Forum)
    #2 - Myself

And NOBODY can argue that it's a "wrong" answer - because your question was:

"of all time" probably means you don't see them here often these days...

I'd start with Allen Says (who owns this forum)

Then there's Mike Filsaime who was here a lot when he was getting started.

...and John Reese who posted here frequently till the guru-bashers took over thread after thread

There are so many smart/successsful people here, some top copywriters and marketers and promotional geniuses. Trick is - YOU have to read enough here to recognize who is talking from experience and who is just talking.:p

Following one person is foolish as you need to pay attention to those knowledgeable in various methods and areas of IM.

To me a successful Warrior is one who builds an empire.

Using that as a gauge, I would have to go with...

    1. Allen Says
    2. BIG Mike (and the whole Incansoft team)
    3. Bryan Zimmerman (and the whole JVZoo team)

Of course there are many definitions one can use for success. I also have some favorite Warriors; some successful, some not (yet).

Frank Kern definitely seems to be a nice dude but I have not seem him on the Warrior Forum. While there is an account that carries his name it does not look like a real account.

HP, Frank's account is real and he used to post here more often. I took the thread literally about "all-time" successful Warriors without limiting it to a certain level of current posting activity. Sometimes I am surprised to learn how many 'names' read the forum without posting these days.

There are probably warriors we know nothing of who have done a lot better things than the ones we know of.
Any one who is successful, congratulations!

If you consider success as that which has such impact that the whole is changed then you might throw David Preston a bone. Remember the Stupidly Simple Cash Cow thread here on the WF was the first ever to get shut down due to traffic... I'd call that successful.

David was also the inspiration behind allowing people from outside the WF buy WSO products... again it's what measure you define success by that matters...

Who knows who would be considered successful? I prefer people that are able to meet their financial goals and still can spend lots of time with their families. That excludes a lot of people from my list of "successful" warriors.

Besides, if you're talking strictly financial success, then who knows? Most people would throw out John Reese, but he admitted a few months back that he owes $500K to the IRS. So ya never know.
