Monetising drug sites. How the heck?

OK, so now I have three sites on google (UK and USA) stable and steady on page 1 for the last month for the keyword:

"[drug name] side effects"

Question is, what the heck do I do with them? There are no adwords ads coming up when you enter that search, Adsense delivers mildly relevant Doctors Practise Health and Safety keywords that no-on actually clicks on, and I can't find any relevant affiliate offers.

Hand them over to medical research?

    If there aren't really any side effects for that drug then you could have an amazon link to the drug.

    Or you could flip the sites

    You could also create an email list with users who want to know about new drugs and their side effects. Then sell them on drugs from amazon, promote some CPA offer, or sell solo ads.

    There are loads of things you can do.

      I'm being dense here, but I don't actually know what you mean by that - you mean Amazon sell drugs now?

      CPA offers and solo ads for what? I just can't find anything to sell!

      One site is a weightloss drug, so I guess I bundle up the Truth About Abs etc?

      The other two are cancer drugs... so holistic therapies? Nah. I'd feel VERY bad peddling moonshine to these visitors.

    You may find some lawyers (in your area or online) that may want customers that are having side effects from particular drugs...
    You may still have valuable traffic and data if you find a buyer..

    There are some drug that are sold on amazon and I don't know what drugs you are talking about so I didn't know if it fit. Just an idea.

    Many people would buy a site the is not monetized with lots of traffic because they would be able to monetize it and start making money.

    You would sell others, who are in a related niche, an email to the users on your list. For example if it's the side effects for a weight loss drug that they are visiting you could have a squeeze page to learn abut the latest weight loss methods and drugs and their side effects. Then an affiliate for truth about abs or something else in the weight loss niche would pay you to send his email, with his link, to you list. Then you don't have to find offers, the people who buy solo ads from you find the offers.

    You just have to think outside the box a little.

      I did take a look at your Sellhealth site - is that your full catalogue? Do you sell anything to fight back pain, kidney damage, increased infections, bone loss or anemia?

      But these are all very good ideas, thanks very much, and they've got me thinking. I see potential and I didn't before! Has anyone got any other thoughts?

    I'd do some more research about how to monetize your blog. There are tons of offers out there. Figure out what your users are searching for. What are the drugs treating? Sell an eBook on coping with the problem.
