Once again as I've stated before. Use your own domain for affiliate links. Use an easy redirect program such as Affiliate Universal Page Maker and no one knows it's an affiliate link unless they take time to click it.

PLUS, since the redirect is from your own page

      You're increasing search engine ranking
You can control where to web page actually redirects to if that affiliate program gets changed.

Yahoo doesn't allow affiliate links whatsoever. That is one of the main reasons they do not allow tinyurl links either, so that people struggle to cloak their links. This is probably to prevent people from overusing their affiliate links on Y!A, since a lot of people already overuse their links once they are level 2.

I'd suggest you use Y!A to get traffic to your website, and have all your affiliate links placed on your website. Y!A is a fantastic place to get targeted leads. Answers rank highly on Google as it is, so you're bound to get a decent amount of traffic to your website if your answer is helpful enough.

To answer your question more specifically, they will not strip the code out of your links. They will merely delete your answers if you try to post affiliate links in your answers in any way.

It doesn't matter, because you'll be banned from Yahoo Answers really quickly, if you try to do this. It will be noticed quickly (often by a competitor).

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this is no way to sell ClickBank products anyway - even if you could do it. It's missing the point. Sorry.

Hopefully. Followed by a lifetime IP ban.

Whoa there partner settle down. I wasn't planning on spamming the hell out of Yahoo answers. I was planning on answering questions properly and directing to an ebook which I have purchased, read and love.

      Thanks everyone for the info!

Whoa there partner, I'm as settled as can be. I never suggested you were doing anything wrong. You don't need to come here asking this though. It's right there in Yahoo's TOS.

And they don't bother "stripping out" affiliate codes. Nope. They shut your account down immediately, no questions asked. And since you brought it up, answering questions with affiliate links isn't what Yahoo Answers is for. And, partner, what you're describing is considered Spamming in every corner of cyberspace. Good luck.

Yahoo Answers is very strict about that, I wouldn't try it.
