Honestly How much do you make per month

Hi Warriors,
Actually this post is about to ask everyone honestly, how much do you make from IM

I am not trying to brag you, I started my IM journey in maybe 2005, moving from idea to the other, finally in 2011, I created 2 Amazon websites

first website has 35 posts (about electronics), the second one has 20 posts (about kitchen stuff), to make the story short, I make barely 30 - 50 USD with adsense and sometimes I lose all of the money because of Google new algorithm

so honesty, am I crazy believing that someone can really make full income online ??

I need your thoughts, please answer me honestly if you make good income (I will consider more than 500$/month as a good income)

tell me what you really do (don't expose your secrets but tell me the direction)

Some people make nothing, some make $10, some make 5 to 6 digits.
Don't look at the figures but rather continue what you are doing. Reward will follow. People fail because their target is to high but they do little work...

Sites are a long-term thing. (Most of the time.)

Why not grab some free Adwords / Adcenter / etc credits and try PPC? Just make sure you 100% know what you're doing beforehand or you'll blow through it quickly.

ok this statement always gets me. " Know what you're doing " can you elaborate on that a little bit please? I mean, so far I understand all the details and I have 3 sites of my own... but the super affiliate guys all say, that is how many sites you have... they say they have 300 sites that make 10 bux a day a piece.... so what do you mean Know what you're doing.?

You really shouldn't be asking people to expose there annual income on an online forum.

It's a recipe for disaster - think of all the hakers, internet whizzes there is now a days. All it takes is for some hacker to see you boasting about making six figures online and then it could end very badly.

People do make money online, if that's what you wanted to know.

Some make a little, some make a large amount.

It doesn't really matter how much money other people make in my eyes, you can always improve on what others are doing - a couple of years ago, someone making $1'000'000 in a 24 hour period was absurd.

But, as sure as hell John Reese did it - then Frank Kern did it. Now others have done it, it's just a vision they have, that they make come to life.

$500/month is easily achievable for you - I mean, if you do the right things, you could easily be making that in a month or two from now.

Hell, some people are making hundreds of thosands a month. So, $500 a month shouldn't be such a huge expectation.

Find a system that works for you - it might not be instantly profitable, so don't just give it a week and if you've made no cash give up, follow through, take action and make it work.

The only person getting in the way of your success is yourself.

Nobody is going to give you their whole business model that they rely on to.. well, live - so don't ask for it.

Find something that works for you, then do that. I could tell you I make the majority of my income with PPC, but that doesn't mean you will be good at it and be able to make a nice income with it.

Like I said - find something that works for you.

      Hey Ryan,
thanks for you modest comment about the income exposure thing... I so agree with you. But for me, I don't know what I don't know, so how would I know what works for me? How do I know what to do? or who to learn it from, is my biggest problem at the moment..
Can you make a suggestion just to get me started?

Well, I like living dangerously, so come on with it, hackers.

I make between $4200-$4800 a month online presently, half of that by performing online services, a few hundred a month with MRR ebooks on Fiverr, and the rest with affiliate promotions via email marketing.

Total work required for all income above? 2-3 hours a day, every day, unless I buckle down and do double-duty for a day to take a day off.

My guess is the post creator is trying to assess whether or not making substantial money through the internet is an obtainable goal for a somewhat inexperienced person. Perhaps the question could have been worded differently, but I believe this person wants some affirmation that a decent earning potential can be a reality. I know I do.

I'm just beginning to research options for earning money online and I realize I have a long road ahead. I thoroughly enjoy spending time on the internet and, up until now, I've spent it mostly playing text-based nation simulator games, which led me to learning quite a bit about modifying forums, and introduced me to GIMP, which I've used over the last 3-4 years learning to design graphics. I'm very creative and enjoy graphics, but I'm also fascinated by "how things work", which is why I wanted to learn about website design.

I've had no schooling for it and the little I know is all self-taught. I've toyed with Wordpress and built my first experimental website, but I've also done a lot of research and often I've become overwhelmed with the endless sea of options and information out there. I find it difficult to decipher what direction to go in if I want to build something that can actually turn a profit. That leads me back to what I said a moment ago. As much time as I spend on the internet, I finally decided I should be doing something more constructive and looking into ways to earn money rather than spend it.

I've worked in retail for the majority of my working life and I am well past being "burned out" on it. Every day, it's a grind and I feel suffocated by it. I absolutely hate it at this point. I would much rather be earning money doing something I actually enjoy, and I would love to be in control of my own life rather than being at the mercy of some corporate structure. So, I guess my passion for creativity, design, and the internet...combined with my loathing of the retail work life, has led me here to these forums where I hope to find inspiration and direction for putting the wheels in motion.

Yeah, so I guess I got off topic a bit. I've earned $16 in 2 days from answering surveys and that's about it so far. lol

Good to know that you at least got started now. 500$ per month is not a big deal. Stick to a good plan. You don't know whether it will make you money until you do it yourself. Once something is working for you, scale it up. Don't leave it. I did the same mistake a year ago.

I easily make around 4 figures every month and I don't work as hard as I used to work earlier when I started out.

    Best wishes!

If you have a flair for designing, writing or anything that you can offer as service. Start off by providing services and then use that money to invest in other ventures.

You need to have a VERY clear idea about what your end goal is and you must spend every spare minute you have working towards it. $500 is a very realistic goal and can be achieved with persistence.

I suggest that you move away from adsense and SEO and look at other ways monetize your website. As far as traffic is concerned, Once you've got a high ticket product to promote you could buy traffic and start promoting the product and building a list.

The key here is to tweak, test and track. Make sure you get the most out of the traffic you buy. Just one simple tweak could add another zero to your income and turn a throwaway website into a money making MONSTER.

Keep tracking and figure out what kind of traffic works best for you and which traffic sources are absolute crap. This will help you increase your EPC and before you know it, you'll have your very own, tuned-up money making machine.

The answer varies DRASTICALLY. You will get those that try for months and even years and still make ZERO. Whilst on the flip side of that you will get people who make serious numbers.

Although there is a learning curve to internet marketing don't be fooled into thinking that you need to be in this game for years before you make a dime. You don't.

There are a few simple things you need to remember:

Don't think there are any one-click shortcuts with internet marketing... there isn't. You need to do work... and work hard at that! An online business is no different than an offline business. You wouldn't sit on your backside all day in the 'real' world and expect to become a business tycoon would you? Same applies here.

Don't start dabbling in one method and then keep switching after a day or two. With most methods, results take time. Test, tweak, test again... then either move on or rinse and repeat.

When you start to make money online (noticed I used the word WHEN)... consider re-investing some of your income back into your online business and look at outsourcing some of your tasks. It's impossible to take care of ALL your daily / weekly tasks and GROW your business at the same time. You need to focus on growing your business to the next level and outsource the individual jobs that will enable your business to make money.

As for the question of what can make big numbers? Product creation... and outsourcing.

I make between $3.000 and $7.000 depending on the month.
January-february and July-august are the low months, during which I usually make around $2000 at best.
I've quit my job 14 months ago (I was a project manager in a web agency).

My incomes are coming from creating and flipping websites (yay flippa!), exploiting various websites like Autoblog creation service, selling SEO packages and targetted traffic (all of those are outsourced for cheap to indonesian and indian suppliers)
I also sell my services for $300 to $500 a day (depending on the client) doing programming (websites, backends, facebook applications)

Earning money on internet takes a long time, and usually require a minimum of technical skills.
But what I noticed is that once you understand how to make money, you get better at it at an exponential rate, and then hit a wall, where your monthly income max out.

I made $15,000 last month. Don't believe that?

What if I told you $9800? Still too high for writing and affiliate marketing? OK.

What if I said $4958.62? Think I'm fooling around because of the specific numbers? Sigh

$998. What the hell? You don't buy that number either? You want access to my bank accounts?!

Fine. I made $0. I've never made a red cent online ever.

That's exactly what I did to start making money as well. Most of the "systems" being sold on forums like these are bunk (I can think of 2 exceptions).

I have made some good "tool" purchases on this forum, however, that have helped me make good money; also, two plugins in particular that came with PLR, which I resold again and again for over $2000 inside of a month, then sold the website I had the plugins on for almost $3000. Plugins cost me $21 total.

Not a bad ROI, considering all I had to do was drive targeted traffic to the site, which I know how to do, and answer an occasional support email.

But one of my online services that makes me over $1200 a month I got by a fluke. Also, my email marketing strategies are my own, though I tried a few guru methods that made no difference to my bottom line. My Fiverr earnings are from driving targeted traffic as well, but not a big money maker for me yet.

You just have to keep plugging away at it, people...be both patient and persistent. Gather skills. Try ideas of your own. Learn until you burn.

And quit looking for the auto-magic bullets. I'm not saying they don't exist, but people who really have them are not going to sell them here for dime sale prices if their methods are really make them a lot of money.

      I wouldn't. Would you?

I've been doing it for years, and was able to walk away from my job on October 12, 2007. It is entirely possible, but it requires work. Hard work.

Oh, and you need to be self-motivated. It's easy to get lazy when you don't have a boss, but laziness will kill your business faster than any competitor ever could.

There are countless people earning a full-time income online, and even more earning at least $500. The opportunities online are amazing; it's up to you (or anybody else) to make the most of them.

The problem is the IM mindset...

After reading a ton of sales letters that say you'll become a bazillionaire over night by sticking your thumb up your yahoo, I think people tend to lose a grasp on reality.

I sure did in the beginning. Shoot, I was making 100 to 400 a day but I felt like a failure because I wasn't an "Instant millionaire".

So instead of doing the smart thing and scaling up... I did the rookie maneuver and dumped what I was doing and went on chasing the next shiny object.

Do something, do your homework, do it well, don't give up, treat your business like a business and not a hobby, stop chasing shiny objects, and you'll succeed.

We (AdSense Flippers) make anywhere from 5K to 45K per month, depending on how our sites are doing, how many we sell, etc. We've been averaging around 20-21K per month so far this year. We go into detail in our income reports:
    Income Report | AdSense Flippers

We know others that have online businesses that bring in significantly more than we do and talk about it publicly. (Check out the Lifestyle Business Podcast / TropicalMBA guys, the Internet Business Mastery guys, or Pat Flynn from SmartPassiveIncome) There are still more that are killing it and not nearly as vocal about it as we are.

That being said, this is NOT the norm. There are a ton of IMers that do it full-time and are just scraping by.

Still...those of us who are making money could be completely full of it. "Claiming" to earn a good amount of money is an attention-grabbing technique that's exploitable and there are many who do.

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for here, OP, but yes...there are plenty of people earning a full-time income online.

Wow! Ok, ok some people don't like to have someone ask their financial worth online and that's fine, but do we really have to put down the person asking or make it seem like he urinated on I.M. holy ground.

I don't comment much but I've been with this forum very close to when it started waaaaay back. The great Corey Rudl was still alive. Allen Says was in his bubble of success which still continues along with several others and odd balls like Howard L. Moreland surfaced later on and crashed & burned when he was exposed etc, etc. I was new and was and still sometimes struggle. I've procrastinated and sometimes even given up before results.

I've also earned money though different projects or efforts.

"You shouldn't be asking that????" Huh. Although I don't care to know, with all the false hope, hype and downright lying in some Internet Marketing products and instructionals, and you don't expect some people to reach out and say "Hey is this truly real and doable or not?". So with all the people boasting success don't you think it's time that they either put up or shut up? I can question the president in a public forum but can't ask how much do people really make? And you say it's unsafe, yet on a product sales page you have absolutely No problem with shouting how much you earned with this "Amazing System!" Oh I see, because it brings you money. But I thought we were here to be real and honest in order to help each other. Maybe it's just me.

I've even purchased products that told you to use their sales page that boasted goo-gobs of financial success and then instructed you to sign your name in the signature area then go to pay-per-click and sell it as you'r own. How many products keep promising and re-promising to "Finally tell you the truth!!!" Because they're tired of the bull, only to give you a half-assed product... yet again!

At some point someone, somewhere is going to say "How do I know that I'm not chasing a pipe dream?" Especially those that have been at for YEARS" and never made more than a few dollars here and there, if that.

Support, encouragment and maybe some resources to valid, real help may keep this community's moral up more so than badgering, making fun of and being cruel. Not everyone is looking for easy, but some people are considering trying to support their families, pay bills, etc. NOT just try to be rich.

Having fun is great but trampling on someone's post with silly video posts is disrespectul in my opinion. People are in need of serious help these days... Open you minds, your hearts. Let's help each other.

The anwer to your original question. I will make a post entitled "Things I've done that have made me cash" - and I'm NO guru! as to not clutter this thread anymore.

If u have good quality sites....that there should be no reason for u to make decent money..through banner ads or textual ads... apart from that if u have sites with PR1+u , you could look at selling contextual links from your sites that can fetch u decent passive monthly income...its a good way of monetizing ur site...we have many webmasters at linksbull that make more than $1000+/month..If u need any help, please feel free to seek so..

Why to ask others to ask for prof? People are really making money. For me it is not my main source of income but still I am earning in three digit monthly. When I am spending very few hours per day, the amount can move to four digit if I give more time here. Concentrate on your job and try to find out new ways. New money making ways are much available in this forum.

  • I don't know why people even bother to ask this question when there will be others who will not divulge the exact figure they are earning.

Perhaps, this could serve as a motivation while others may grow envy especially those who are earning 4-5 digit income/month. I am into the 3-digit mark but I know sooner or later I will get the 4-5 digit income.

It's a matter of coming up with the right formula and take it from there. Mix and match so to speak. If you are offering a service, diversify and have a passive income. At least, if one source is not bringing you more money you can always earn from your other source.
