Any suggestions on a Course on Email Capture/Squeeze Page

Hey,

I am looking for a good clear detailed course with actual how-to examples (WSO, ClickBank or whatever) that shows step-by-step how to set up an email marketing campaign to collect email addresses with a squeeze page on a WP blog and follow up with email marketing. Similar to Andy Jenkins "Beginner's Luck" course. (A great course, but lacking in clear details).

Thanks for any suggestions.

Mao Flynn's List Detonator course is very good (and detailed).

In fact, the core is the target user data, and you can send email to their inbox, not the trash box.

I would recommend that you do NOT look for more techniques (how to do this, blah blah) and instead focus on a couple skills that will help everything you do online.

    Skill #1: Copy-writing

The words (or audio) you use on your website are the most important and valuable assets you have. It is what you will use to grab your viewers, spark interest, and get them to take action.

There are countless books on copy writing. I recommend anything by Dan Kennedy (he's a god).

    Skill #2: Targeting

No matter how good your copy is, if you aren't targeting a specific "person" your copy won't speak to your readers as good. You want to know exactly what type of customer you want and speak to that customer (like a 1 on 1 conversation). The better your targeting, the less you need to be an expert at copywriting.

    Skill #3: Building A Relationship

The key to success in e-mail marketing is your ability to build a strong relationship with your subscribers.

It's not just about giving tips and information every couple days. (Everybody does that!)

You need to stand out and connect with your customer (Which happens through targeting and copywriting). The better you know what customer you are targeting, the easier it is to build a connection with them.

plenty of good tutorials on youtube, and if you still struggle then it may be easier to hire someone to do this part and allow yourself to focus on the marketing funnel.

I've also found it's worth joining the lists of the people in your niche and reverse engineering the system, that way it's easier to explain to someone what you want to achieve. When it comes to setting up squeezepages on a blog a lot depends on the theme used.

A lot of people use optimizepress, and while this makes a good page they all get a bit samey after a while. Other themes will give you a blank template to work from, and others will rely on you putting something on the sidebar.

Overall your best choice for course is ask the people who you currently want to emulate how they set up their sites, and what software is being used.
