Would you sell this on Flippa?

I randomly decided to buy the domain: youdidntbuildthat.me (in reference to all the political mayhem going on with Obama's statements) a week or so ago, and I was curious as to whether you guys think it would sell on Flippa or not. I'm not trying to start some kind of political debate whatsoever, so please stay away from that. Thanks for any answers.

I think it would sell for less than $50, nothing more than that.

      Argument to that statement....

When OccupyWallStreet was huge, I picked up a domain for it, started to create a little social network online behind it with very very very little social media promotions, got it up to around 600 members and then sold the site to a buyer for $3,000

You just don't know what someone is willing to pay for something?

Sure open domain market... maybe $50 max...

it might sell well if you developed a website around it and promoted it for a month or two. Maybe it'll sell well near the election time.

I agree with Sahi and LMC, if you develop a bit of a buzz around the domain then it will most definitely be more valuable, you never know what something will be worth to the right person.

That domain from my view point doesn't have much value, so I coundn't try to sell it on Flippa, maybe developed as some users commented above...that way maybe you got a buyer, who knows

My advise is try to offer at namepros, ebay or godaddy

I would say that this domain without development would never get bid on Flippa. But you never know.
I would not try to sell it there for sure even if starting domain auction was free.

Yes, I agree to promote it in advance. If not, it seems to be sold and more than can cover the cost you spent to pay listing on Flippa.

What I would do is put up a WP site and contact small business owners. Ask them to post their story about how they built their business, not the government. Once you get a good quantity (subjective) of stories, come up with a way to monetize it (ad words, clickbank, whatever), write a PR and pitch the site to the news media, FOX, Drudge, Limbaugh, Hannety, BrightBart and the Romney campaign. You should get traffic if any of them cover it. Then try to flip it before the elections or hang on to it if you are making money.
