Are You Having An 'Off' Day?

I'll be completely honest and tell you that today is 'one of those days' for me. You know the kind of day I'm talking about...where the world seems to be stacked against you and no matter what you do, you just can't seem to catch a break!

I've been having one of 'those' years actually! But I'm not here to focus on the bad. I just felt compelled to say thank you today.

You see, when you focus on the bad, that's when things just keep getting worse. You lose focus and any chance you have of progress is lost for a time. Sleeping all day is not exactly productive, am I right?! (not that I do that!)

Anytime you feel like the weight of the world is coming down on you, the best possible thing you can do is to turn your focus away from your problems and look for the good in your life. I love examples of people like Lance Armstrong who, in spite of what should have been a death sentence, rose above his challenges and beat the odds big time!

So I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here who has made a positive impact on me during my short time as a member thus far. It's great to be a part of a community like this where we can share ideas and learn & help one another. Thanks to those of you who have answered my questions, given me advice and have just been friendly to me!

And if you're reading this today and happen to find yourself having 'one of those days' as we all sometimes do, try to take a step back and look at everything good in your life...your family, friends, dog/cat/fish...whatever you can come up with to help lift you up, even if it's just a little. Positive actions will rarely if ever come from negative thoughts & feelings.
