This Guy is Worth Reading

In my never-ending quest to learn how to make the most appealing websites, including good copy, I was told by an Internet savvy (he was building websites before many of us even knew how to type in a URL) friend of mine about Jakob Nielsen. Nielson writes about "website usability", and he covers a lot of subjects on what makes websites appealing, readable, and effective. I've just skimmed over some of what he has to say (he also has some books out that look like they'd be excellent library additions) and I'm impressed. He puts out a bi-weekly newsletter that I've just subscribed to.

I was impressed enough to want to come here and share the link to his website. I hope some of you can benefit from it--I know I'm going to.

From the looks of his site it doesn't make me to want to buy any of his over priced reports.

    -No offense.

Oh I realize that, but he's got some good advice about readability. If you take a dash of some of that advice with some good sales copy advice, it could be beneficial. Mind you, I haven't tried any of his suggestions yet, so I'm not yet able to provide a testimonial. : )
